Sleeping is a summer pastime.

The FlyLow Women's Foxy Bib Pant is for the dedicated few who are up at the crack of dawn, patiently awaiting the day's snow report while refreshing radar feeds and studying snow stake cams. Needless to say, for those that prefer slashing powder to snoozing on winter mornings, the Foxy Bib Pant delivers unprecedented protection with its 3-layer Intuitive membrane, fully sealed construction, and excellent coverage. Robust nylon reinforcements along the cuffs prevent ripping and tearing where the pant is most susceptible to wear over time.

The pant's adjustable bibs keep waist-deep snow from billowing inside with every glorious trip to the white room. Inner and outer thigh vents help you cool off when you're skinning in the backcountry or lapping the resort on spring days. Snap-in compatibility with FlyLow Jackets offers a snow-tight seal from deep powder. There's also a kangaroo chest pocket for convenient access to essential items and snacks when you're deep in the backcountry.

Best Purchase I Ever Made

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

I absolutely love these bibs! These Flylow bibs are the best thing to ever happen to my ski days. Fits perfectly and looks rad on the slopes. Completely water proof (just pells right off). No worries when you gotta go, the full zip is such a nice touch making these bibs bathroom ready. Vents are strategically placed and keep me cool on long climbs and spring conditions. I put them through the wringer this season and they still look like new. No rips, scrapes, or damage to report after >40 ski days in the resort and the skin tracks.

Great style but poor fit

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Small

I was really excited for these bibs - they're almost universally rated as the best women's snow bibs on the market, the vintage green color is beautiful, and the fabric looks and feels great. They also have great pockets and plenty of zips to cool off. So, I bought two sizes at once, confident that either the small or the medium would fit. Nope. I'm still sad about it.

The small bibs were very tight in the hips and thighs, and tight around the chest as well, making it difficult to move my upper body comfortably. The waist was a little big, but the length was fine.
The mediums fit okay through my hip and thigh but gaped ridiculously in the waist. They were also about four inches too long, even with my ski boots on.
Apart from the fit, I was concerned that the inside zips on each leg might chafe or rub together as I'm walking. You know, because women's thighs touch each other sometimes.
(For reference, I'm 5'6", 135lbs, with an hourglass shape. I usually wear a 4/6 in pants or 26/27 in jeans.)

It feels as if Flylow has gone for the "shrink it and pink it" route with their women's gear, making only minor changes to their men's cuts to design these women's bibs: the legs are narrow and straight, and there is very little tapering in the waist (as you might expect in something cut for men). I have noticed a similar issue with the Flylow Billie Coat - I can barely snap the powder skirt but I have loads of extra room in the torso.

There are many women's shapes out there, and this bib will only work for a small subset of them. I found a pair that fit with Arc'teryx, which I'd recommend to other women with larger quads and narrow waists.

Perfect bib

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: True to size

My wife loves these. It seems like if the fit is right they are great but they don't fit everyone. They have a really soft hand, are durable and waterproof.

gift for gf

she loves them. they're ruggedly waterproof for powder, and comfortably breathable for the uphill.

    Two Seasons Later

    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XS

I've worn these for two seasons now, and I still love them. I have noticed the waterproofing has faded a bit, but the water seems to stay on the bibs and my legs have not gotten wet even on the deepest powder days.

Here's a picture of me wearing them during a ski tour in Grizzly Gulch, Utah! Check out my more detailed review below.

    Two Seasons Later

Got these as a gift for a friend

These pants are great. I'm always the perfect temperature. Pockets are nicely located for your phone to stay warm on your chest and your ski pass. The fabric gathers in odd places sometimes but they're pretty adjustable so I think it's mostly about getting used to moving around a lot in overalls.

Best women's bib on the market!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: Runs small
      • Size Bought: Medium

I have tried on many sets of women's bibs and these are by far the best! Most bibs are either intentionally tight in the legs, have some weird bell bottom shape, or really are not shaped/geared towards performance. Buying women's gear can be very frustrating!

I am 5' 6", 130 lbs, size 4 pants, usually fit into regular or long pants. The medium is perfect! I ordered both the medium and small and glad I did. I usually wear a small in ski/snowboard pants, but the smalls in this bib were very small. They hit about ankle height and were VERY tight in the thighs. I would not consider myself to have large/athletic thighs so I was surprised by how tight the smalls were. The medium, however, fit perfectly. They were not tight at all, lots of room for movement, length was perfect. I've tried on bibs that were loose in legs but tight in abdomen ... Not an issue here. No problem bending forward to strap into snowboard. So if there is any questions on size, I would recommend sizing up. I am not a large chested woman, but if you are, it seems the suspender portion can be easily adjusted and the front chest covering is shaped that it won't fit weird if you need big adjustments.

As far a performance, I am impressed. I have worn these in rainy downpours and blizzard conditions and I stay perfectly dry. I do have to layer more but this is expected with a shell. Drop seat in the pants is key, no trouble at all using the bathroom (indoors or outdoors). Chest pockets are well placed. I keep my phone in kangaroo pocket and have no issues with battery life.

If you have been struggling to find a pair of women's bibs that are geared towards performance, rather than fashion, these are the ones! (Not that they look bad, they look awesome, but I would not call it a flattering fit).

      Not sure I'm in love

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Size Bought: Large

I thought I'd love these when I first tried them on at home. The vintage color is cool but as another review mentioned they tend to absorb stains. Luckily, using tech wash I've been able to get all stains out except one. Word to the wise, don't dig your stuck car out in them!

As for performance, I'd love to see more room and stretch in the torso, leg and bottom. I'm a solid large in most brands, an expert level skier and prefer deep powder days. I currently only ski inbounds but plan to get touring equipment for next season and have my doubts that these will be comfortable enough. They fit fantastic when standing but when skiing they bind and the side zipper actually unzips while skiing. I didn't even notice it happened the first time but awkwardly found out at lunch after removing my jacket. I may try the Backcountry version with stretch fabric next year if they add new colors.

A couple good notes is the water proofing, pockets and ingenious potty zipper.

      Not sure I'm in love

      Great Bibs

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I'm half-way through my first season with these bibs and love them. They fit really well, they cute, and they perform like a champ. I was going to give 5 stars, but my only compliant is they don't clean easily (I got the vintage green color, so it's a lighter color and shows grime more, but I wish it was easier to get that grime off). I also wish the torso part of the bib was more breathable - it can get a little clammy during a long tour. I think this issue may have been resolved in the Backcountry x Flylow Patsey Marley bib, so I may check those out next season if new colors come out. Neither of these two complaints is enough to make we dislike these bibs, I still recommend them.

Same. I love, love, love these. I am hard to fit and finally found a good match, but they look like I have been playing in the dirt. I have skied them at resorts and back county. I don't know where I picked up all the grime. I have the orange color. Like you, not a deal breaker, but if anyone has tips for washing, let me know.

Awesome, but just shy of perfect

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: Runs small
      • Size Bought: xs

This is my first pair of bibs - I'd been wanting some after getting tired of snow down my pants from falling on powder days.
      Why they're great:
      * These are the easiest ski pants for pit stops. The 'trap door' style zipper even makes it easy to do with a pack on the trail.
      *Look awesome
      * Kangaroo chest pocket is great, fits a beacon or a couple bars well. The smaller chest pocket is great for lip balm/ID.
      *excellent thigh venting

      What's not quite perfect:
*A little tight in the thighs. I'm not able to comfortably get my beacon into a thigh pocket, I can really only use them for a small map. I'd love to see more room here
      * Shoulder strap adjustment buckles hit in the same spot as backpack straps and get uncomfortable

Another user commented they found these bibs too cold. They're not insulated. I tend to run really warm when exercising and find I need to use fewer layers due to added warmth from the torso coverage.

      I love these bibs

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size

The only reason I gave these bibs 4 stars is because I got pretty cold fairly quickly even being well layered. They are an amazing pant. Extremely durable, comfortable, flattering and water resistant. If you cold cold easily like I do I would look for something more insulated, other than that I would highly recommend these pants

      Love these bibs

      5’3”, size XS

I’ve tried other bibs, but, they just don’t compare! I love the Foxy Bib so much, the is my second pair. I have found that these bibs are true to size, and fit perfectly and for a high-performance bib they are flattering! Not too baggy, and not too tight - I still feel feminine, but can also kick butt on the mountain. They have plenty of movement and stretch. Ultra waterproof, for wet-snow days. Great ventilation for touring. The pocket placement is the bees-knees, especially the “kangaroo pouch" chest pocket - fits a beacon nicely, or pocket snacks for chair lap days.

Beware, that the black bibs are actually more on the grey side (and do not match the black on the Billie Jacket), and if you get cold easily these might not be for you unless you are a layer extraordinaire.

      Best bib

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: XS

This is my first bib since I was a little kid and it is so cute AND functional. I’m 5’0”, 105lbs and the XS fits great. Length is always an issue for me but with ski boots, it’s totally fine. Staying dry while skiing (and falling) in powder is no longer an issue! I was really on the fence due to the price but am glad I went through with it. Most bibs are still expensive but I know I’ll definitely love and use these for many seasons :)

      Almost Perfect

      • Size Bought: Small

I bought these for my wife for Christmas. She's looked at the Flylow Foxy Bib for awhile but was hesitant because of price and wanted an all black color. We bought a size XS and Small to see which fit better. She was torn between the two sizes. The XS fit really great everywhere but the length. She kept the Small so it would have more length and add a little more movement for sitting on lifts. The overall quality and style is great, just wish there was a little an option for a long length in XS.

I wish there were options for lengths on these as well, so I'm also taller and lots of people or shorter. So, fingers crossed for next year!

Thanks as always, for your reviews, Brian. You're awesome!

      Not best quality

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: Runs small
      • Size Bought: Medium

Bibs fit me well and are definitely comfortable and stylish. However after only 7 days on them the cuffs started showing signs of wear and had some small rips in. After only seven days! Regretting my purchase of these now and would recommend others to shell out the marginal more money on arcteryx next time.

      Foxy bib pants women

      • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
      • Fit: Runs large
      • Size Bought: small

First time purchase of ski wear, found that they are made for a taller person. I am 5'5'', standard height and 125 lbs, I purchased the small and they were too Long in the torso and inseam/legs. I feel it was made for someone in the 5'8" range. XS would of been to small I feel. Otherwise vintage green color very attractive.

      Bombproof Bibs

Used these bibs twice now this season. Typically have issues with cutting up the legs of my pants with my edges, but these have shown zero wear even with a few yard sales.

        Cute but not practical

        • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
        • Fit: Runs small
        • Size Bought: Large

I do not currently own these but discovered while trying them on in the store that the L was far too tight. I am 5-8 , about 147 lbs and always wear a large across 99% of brands. Luckily the length was great but these would not be great for anyone with hips and/or butt for activities like skinning...or any movement for that matter.

Cute but not a 400 dollar bib

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times
        • Fit: Runs small

Bought these due to the glowing reviews here and at outdoorgearlab.

I think these are v v cute, but I'm disappointed with the performance. The material is soft and soakes through very easily for a 3 layer bib. I also find the waist zip constantly works it's way down. Aaand the scuf guard is already showing significant wear after Only 1 month of regular riding. I've emailed flylow about this and they've offered to warranty them, but this would take two weeks. As I'm in the snow 3-4 days a week this is simply not workable for me.

Definitely wishing I'd bought these at REI or someplace with a longer return policy as I would defnitely be trading these in and biting the bullet for a pair of arctirixizixixz or another burly 3l Gore tex pant.

If flylow or Backcountry wants to remedy this I'm all ears.

Update: spoke with flylow again. My options are to bring them by theur shop for a warranty inspection and then *leave them there on a ski trip to CO* and maybe they'll repair them. Or, they might give me a credit for more for of their gear. Maybe. Super done with this. The price of these pants vs the quality of their warranty is absolutely whack. Taking my business elsewhere (see OR, pattagucci etc.)

This was super helpful! Was debating these or patagonia...also have been super bummed with backcountry's service lately on gear failures, so helpful to know to hit up REI. Thanks!

        Just what she wanted

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend. She had never worn bibs before and was always jealous of how comfortable mine looked, rightfully so. Out of all the different women's bib pants available, the Flylow Foxy Bib Pants were given the best review by my friends. So far she has worn them a couple of days while skiing in Montana and absolutely loves them. The fit is better than any of her previous pants and she is happy to finally have her own bibs!

        How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Measure around the smallest part of your waist.
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
