I love! but maybe not for everyone

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Medium

So firstly, I love these bibs, hence the 5 stars from me. But after reading some of the other reviews, I can see where some of these ladies are coming from. I'm 5'8" and 130ish and think that these fit great in a M - but they are definitely slim through the hips, so keep that in mind when ordering. I originally ordered a S based on the size chart and then exchanged for a bit more room. The length is great for my height, and I haven't experienced the bagginess in the crotch that some people have - but again, thats because this inseam works for me. I would say these definitely have a taller, slimmer fit, and may not be best for those who are curvy in the hips or need a shorter inseam.
I love the chest pockets on these bibs, they're perfect for keeping my phone so it doesn't freeze up during the day, and my cash/cards so they're not at risk of falling out of an unzipped exterior pocket.
Some people are referring to these as a 'shell' which is true. They are not insulated, however, the goretex fabric is plenty warm - just be sure to pair with good base layers on the really chilly days. And the reverse, goretex is not marketed as a breathable fabric, so on milder days, be sure to lighten the base layer situation. They are hands down the best for keeping you dry - several days in a row in foggy, wet snow in WA spring and I was dry as a bone underneath.

    Love this bib!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

    Fits well and very waterproof

    Love this bib!

I should have read all the reviews first

    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Large

Yep- I read about these on another website that they were good for larger hips and thighs with smaller waist. Definitely NOT the case! I can always wear a large, I couldn't even get these zipped. Also- they are just a shell. I'm sure they are waterproof but will do nothing for the cold.

Good quality, not the best fit/features

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Size Bought: Large

I loved these bibs when I first bought them. Good movement, easy to use the bathroom, and they have a relaxed fit that is flattering.
But now that I have had them a few seasons I have discovered some serious downfalls.
First, the crotch is suppper low rider, which is fine if you’re just resort skiing, but a huge pain when you’re touring or throwing your leg over a snowmobile. I have the straps as short as they will go, and I’m 5’9 wearing a size Large.
Second, the fabric over the belly and chest doesn’t breath very well. Whenever I tour, even on really cold days, my body temperature is great, except my belly way overheats. I have talked to several ladies with these bibs and they say the same. The belly sweat is not appealing.
Third, the leg pockets are useless. They need to be about 6-8 inches higher. Anything you put in them ends up at an awkward place right above your knee.
Because of all these things I will be looking for a new bib next season.

    Amazing bibs

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: True to size

These bibs are amazing. I ordered the large, and they were a great fit. The zippers are all in the right places and they hit the right spot on the chest. Unfortunately, I returned them because I couldn't get down with the color. sadly I think flylow has a pour selection of colors.

XL review Nice shape high quality

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: XL

Has a really nice shape to it. high quality features except the top pocket doesn't€™ lay flat (for XL anyway) .. probably great for smaller sizes.. The down side is it not a lot of ability for movement in the knees or hips compared to the other 5 pairs of bibs I tried on in XL.. I had a hard time even getting the zipper up. I usually were a size 10 pants..

XL review Nice shape high quality

*seems* like a rad bib, but...

    • Size Bought: Medium

I missed out on being able to try the short inseam in these bibs (like, everywhere, not just on backcountry.) I'm 5'0", and these bibs are too "bunchy" on me from the hips down for my liking. I needed to size up to a medium to have room for layers without feeling "packed in" and also to comfortably accommodate my butt and thighs. (Which are proportionally muscular; not crazy big, not crazy curvy??) From there, there's just too much pant leg for my stature. Also, zipping them up the last few inches got cumbersome since the zip on me comes up high enough it requires some awkward wrist torque to keep tension on the zipper. But trying them on with my layers and ski gear in my living room, the bib quality and construction itself seemed on par. So I'll at least give a shout out for that. In the end, I still sent these back, and my search for short-lady bibs continues another season. I admit, my 3-star score really more reflects my feelings toward the ski gear industry in general, Flylow included, when it comes to providing bibs that fit fully formed adults my size. WE LIKE SKIING IN GREAT GEAR TOO!!

    SICK PANTS!!!!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Large (Short)

I've been looking at getting bibs for a while and heard these were sick... and they are!! I recommend sizing up if you like your pants loose and the awesome thing about these pants are that they also have short so you can size up without having them too long. I love the was they fit and the material it super high quality. They have tons of pockets for all the touring snacks and both sided air vents for those hot days!! Defo reccomend!!!!!

    BEST WOMEN'S SKI PANT!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: large

The Foxy bibs are hands down the best women's ski pant on the market. The 3-layer stormshell intuitive fabric moves with your body as you're touring up the skin track or charging your way down a face. They have just enough give to them but are super strong, breathable and waterproof, even after getting hammered with snow all day long. The lack of insulation on these pants make them the perfect choice for regulating temperature when charging hard all day. The high chest provides some extra warmth and I like to completely open up the thigh vents when I'm hiking. The kangaroo pocket fits my phone perfectly and keeps it warm. These pants also look awesome and I pair them with the Billie Coat to complete my kit. The sizing runs as expected/normal. I highly recommend these pants, from the hill to apres, you won't want to take them off!

    Great everyday bib!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

These bibs were my go-to all winter last year. Light and breathable enough to tour in, I brought them on a 2 week touring trip to Norway and they were perfect! Also durable and waterproof enough for the cascade cement that I ski in on the regular at home. I like the pocket placement and size, the thigh pockets are big enough for a snack when messing around at the resort to last-minute put gloves in when it gets too hot when touring. The double zipper provides really good airflow for hiking. Also Bibs I can pee in without taking my jacket off, definitely a winner in my book.

FINALLY A Good Bib Pant For Women!!!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small

I probably don't have to tell you that the Foxy Bibs are the world's greatest invention! Finally someone is making stylish and functional bibs for us ladies. I've gotten shafted on getting these a few years because they sell out so fast, BUT I finally have a pair this year and they're the best EVER. Snow doesn't go down my pants when I fall, the thigh pockets are the best for unencumbered access to pocket bacon and my phone, they're fitted in all the right places and have good length. The fabric is bomber! Still waterproof after hours of getting rained on. Hands down best pants on the market.

I would buy these bibs again!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: medium

I purchased this bib for snowboarding and snowmobiling and absolutely love it! The fit and style is modern and works well off the mountain as casual wear as well. The bib quality is very high quality and extremely waterproof so it is perfect for those snowy powder days but at the same time it is also breathable with proper ventilation for those sunny warm days. This bib fits true to size with room for layering which will probably be needed for the cooler days. I purchased this along with a flylow Billie coat and the two compliment each other extremely well.

    These are awesome

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

I wore these all last season and love love love them. I got them for touring but ended up also wearing them in the resort. I also don't have any problems with the fit. I bought a M based on the reviews that they run small but could have probably done with a size S. This way though I have tons of room for layers if I so desire.

    Love at first pee!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: XL

I've been trying for years to get these bibs and get them in my size. I knew from other products that this brand tends to run small, so I ordered up. The fit is perfect and I've got room to get around the mountain without feeling like I'm going to split the pants at the seam. The pockets are also handy and leave enough room for sandwich snacks tucked away. Even on my wettest day on the hill, I still stayed warm and dry.

    Best Purchase I Ever Made

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

I absolutely love these bibs! These Flylow bibs are the best thing to ever happen to my ski days. Fits perfectly and looks rad on the slopes. Completely water proof (just pells right off). No worries when you gotta go, the full zip is such a nice touch making these bibs bathroom ready. Vents are strategically placed and keep me cool on long climbs and spring conditions. I put them through the wringer this season and they still look like new. No rips, scrapes, or damage to report after >40 ski days in the resort and the skin tracks.

    Great style but poor fit

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Small

I was really excited for these bibs - they're almost universally rated as the best women's snow bibs on the market, the vintage green color is beautiful, and the fabric looks and feels great. They also have great pockets and plenty of zips to cool off. So, I bought two sizes at once, confident that either the small or the medium would fit. Nope. I'm still sad about it.

The small bibs were very tight in the hips and thighs, and tight around the chest as well, making it difficult to move my upper body comfortably. The waist was a little big, but the length was fine.
The mediums fit okay through my hip and thigh but gaped ridiculously in the waist. They were also about four inches too long, even with my ski boots on.
Apart from the fit, I was concerned that the inside zips on each leg might chafe or rub together as I'm walking. You know, because women's thighs touch each other sometimes.
(For reference, I'm 5'6", 135lbs, with an hourglass shape. I usually wear a 4/6 in pants or 26/27 in jeans.)

It feels as if Flylow has gone for the "shrink it and pink it" route with their women's gear, making only minor changes to their men's cuts to design these women's bibs: the legs are narrow and straight, and there is very little tapering in the waist (as you might expect in something cut for men). I have noticed a similar issue with the Flylow Billie Coat - I can barely snap the powder skirt but I have loads of extra room in the torso.

There are many women's shapes out there, and this bib will only work for a small subset of them. I found a pair that fit with Arc'teryx, which I'd recommend to other women with larger quads and narrow waists.

    Perfect bib

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size

My wife loves these. It seems like if the fit is right they are great but they don't fit everyone. They have a really soft hand, are durable and waterproof.

    gift for gf

she loves them. they're ruggedly waterproof for powder, and comfortably breathable for the uphill.

      Two Seasons Later

      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: XS

I've worn these for two seasons now, and I still love them. I have noticed the waterproofing has faded a bit, but the water seems to stay on the bibs and my legs have not gotten wet even on the deepest powder days.

Here's a picture of me wearing them during a ski tour in Grizzly Gulch, Utah! Check out my more detailed review below.
