Second buy

Coming back for more! This is the second pair I bought. I wear them daily. Thin and light and the fit is AWESOME. I wear swimming, hiking, around everyday. Definitely my favorite shorts.

    Thing legs

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: 33/34

Fjallraven hit the nail on the head with everything except the thighs. Granted I don't have the skinniest legs out there, but for a 33/34 waist they are just a bit snug on the legs. However, I will say that most paints and shorts we carry that are perfect for my waist are a little tight in the thighs. Still love them though and great fit.

    Best shorts

Love these shorts!! They do run large so size down one size. Bought two colors because they are that good.

    Great Summer Shorts

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: 32

Runs large, I am a 33-34 and the 32 fits great! 6'2" and they come just above my knee.

Thin, light, and stretchy. No DWR so they will soak up water if they get wet but vary quick drying. I use them to wet wade fish on ware days. Best use is climbing, zipper side and rear pocks to keep thing from falling on your belayers head. Gusseted crouch and vary stretchy. Highly recommended.

overall construction and cut lack the dynamism of arc'teryx - kinda old school cut. durable fabric. rich colours. sadly too big. seems my body is in transition from 32->30in - but this does seem like a big 32.
oh and the belt loop are a different colour in the dark olive - not clear from web image
