Good beginner shoe
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
I bought these when I first started climbing in January, and they've done well. Mostly they got used in the gym, but have done quite a bit outdoors as well (usually use other shoes when climbing outside however). They're set at a low price point, and are quite comfortable - the leather means they've stretched quite a bit, so be prepared for that.
On that note, they're getting ready for retirement. They lasted about 9 months of beginner climbing (so tortured my shoes, basically), and time to move on.
But if you're looking for a solid shoe to start with at a fairly low price point, it's a good option.
