Trashed in 24 hours...

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small

Took me a while to finally pull the trigger on some tech underwear, as the price point is generally pretty high. Reading tons of reviews and seeing these on sale at around $15/pair, I committed. After 24 hours of wearing my first pair, which included 10ish miles of cycling, 2 hours of climbing, and a full day of physical activity at my job, these boxers looked like they've seen years of abuse. They almost immediately start pilling, and the deteriorating/exposed fibers catch on each other like velcro. They look terrible, as if they're starting to fall apart, after only one day of use. The quality is just not there for $15/pair, nevermind at full price. I've heard such great things about this brand, and it's unfortunate that these just don't live up to the hype.

Thanks again to the Backcountry staff for all the help with the return/refund. Off to try out the slightly more expensive SAXX underwear. Fingers crossed.

I have a couple pair of these now and they are great! Other reviews say they run up but i don't have that issue myself. I only wear them while being active and they perform as they should. Comfy, soft, sleek, and breathable. Look no further if you are looking for a boxer like this!

Great boxer briefs. Nice and snug without a smell. Great backpacking briefs.

Soooooo comfortable!

These puppies fit so well and are incredibly soft & breathable. Great for an afternoon hike, night at the bar, or day in the office. Anti-Odor is pretty aweseome as well if it's day 4 on your trip and you haven't been able to wash your clothes yet!

You'll never wear anything else

Gamechangers. Once you get these you'll never wear anything else.

The Ex Does It Again

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Medium

Ex-Officio is well renowned for their borderline perfect quality in the build in their garments. The Give and Go Boxer Brief continues that trend with the super comfortable and functional design. The fitting is a bit smaller in this case so keep that in mind and it is a bit more costly but you do get what you pay for here. Also the colors are pretty good.

Silk for your bum

I have a couple pairs of these and they are the best boxers on the planet in my opinion. Support where you need it, they stay put and don't ride up or down or anywhere you don't want them. Breathable, odorless after use, fast drying and so amazingly silky smooth. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

Comfortable and Breathable!

I just got these for my fiance and he loves them! His new favorite boxers.

    Best underwater ever

Swamp ass is a thing of the past with the Give-N-Go Sport Mesh 6in Boxer Brief. The lightweight, super breathable material is soft next to skin. I'm 5'8", with a 30 in waist and a 30 in inseam, and the smalls are awesome. If you're afraid of them running up your leg, ExOfficio offers a 9 in boxer, but the 6" have been great for me.

    Extremely comfortable and light

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Small

The fabric of these is super light, comfortable, and breathable, it really felt like I had nothing on. The one thing I was not a fan of is the legs tended to ride up, which really gets annoying, especially on long days climbing or hiking. I got a small and am usually a 31-32 waist and they fit well.

FORGET EVERYTHING YOU KNOW ABOUT BOXERS

Just kidding, don't do that. But I do really like these.

I have never really been into boxers that are nylon/lycra material. These feel absolutely nothing like the ones I used to wear. These are light, and do not hug me too tightly anywhere. At the same time they don't feel too loose like boxers do to me.

I would say they run pretty true to size. I am generally a 31 waist and the small fits perfectly.

    Hmm. Great Material. Runs Up

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I am a boxer brief guy through and through and love a good pair that breaths well and keeps the funk away. I wear a 32 waist and both the small and mediums fit fine.

Exofficio has a ton of hype and the material absolutely lives up to it. The fit (initially) is great, but they do run up and am hugely not a fan of that. I will say, the material itself is very comfortable and seems to breath well, but its a bit negated when you're having to pull the legs down constantly.

Not sure if there's a good solution to this, but makes a pair of underwear that has a great material a pair that just doesn't fit that well. If you needed a pair for traveling, camping, etc they would be a great pair, but keep in mind that there's a lot of other good pairs of undies for about the same price.

I was wearing these as soon as i could, and it took me like 15 minutes to recognize that the tag was still on it and it was on the inside. Honestly it doesn't even feel like I'm wearing anything, not that it doesn't give great support, cause it does. My wife and I are going to Israel for a 2 week hiking trip. I will put up another review after we get back.

    Materially Unique

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are now my favorite pair of underwear and I would recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing pair of underwear unlike any you have worn before. The fabric and material is what make these so amazing; with it being supple and soft but at the same time the most breathable material I have ever worn. Gonna be getting a couple more pairs of these for sure!

    Light and Breathable

I'm a big supporter of you get what you pay for and its obvious in these boxers.

Super silky light weight and extremely soft on the skin make these great warm weather underoos. Yesterday I went skiing (in May) under a hot sun and then got stranded on the side of the highway when the motor in my car blew up. I ended up standing under the blazing sun for hours waiting around. I was so comfortable I forgot I was wearing my new boxers and i know I would have been uncomfortable and hot in anything else. Quick note, I got the phantom color and they look great.

Really excited to know that ExOfficio products live up to the hype and this experience will have me coming back for more.

ExOfficio Give N Go 6" Boxer Briefs are the current upgrade of a long long and many years of awesome underwear. These are silky smooth and comfortable but plenty rugged and durable for all outdoor activities and long days of fun outside. I love the length, breathability, and text. Super versatile, I wear them for casual wear and for mtn biking, snowboarding, hiking, and any pursuit outdoors. They are always great!

The Answer to all your Undie Needs

I was tired of keeping a dozen pair of cotton briefs so I went with one of these to try them out given their reputation. They worked great for everyday activities (work, errands, the gym) and also worked great for hiking. I recently took these with me on a week long desert camp trip and ended up having them be relatively scent free for not showering all week. Although I did not wear them seven days straight I had a solid four days in them.

A buddy of mine has had these briefs with him for at least a year now and boasts about them all the time. He hike the Long Trail in Vermont last fall and only used one pair the whole time. This was a 30 day trip where he only washed them a handful of time, in a stream, with some Dr. Bronner's soap. A great method for packing light but for using these with your everyday activities I would personally have two or three pairs.
