using these for a hiking trip next year. I've washed these by hand and they dry quickly!! this is why I purchased these for the convenience of quick drying material while traveling.

I bought these to wear post partum and beyond. They wear great. My only complaint is that the leg openings are a bit scratchy on me but I have thicker thighs. I purchased XL and am a 10/12. Plenty of room.

    I love them

These are my go to pair when I have thermals on underneath my ski bibs. Wedgie free all day and they don't move! Exactly what I needed for my higher rise thermals. These are pretty high waisted so unless you are wearing something that comes up that high to match the waist band, I would get the bikini brief instead

    She likes them

I wanted to try a higher-waisted pair of undies to see if I would like them. These are nice, but not my style.

I bought my first ones in 2008 for a 3-week trip to China, and I'm still wearing them. I've added more to my collection since then. I think I'm hooked and don't want any other brands in my underwear drawer.

Can't get enough of these undies!

The ad on the package says something like 16 countries, 90 days and 1 pair of panties (well 2). That is because these are great travel undies. They keep clean and comfy through long active trips and dry quickly when washed, so I believe the statement could be very true. They are ideal for a trip if you are a minimalist packer like myself. I have 4 pairs for a month long trip into the jungle where they will be used exactly as intended and used well! I strongly recommend these undies for anyone who likes travel but not packing, or just likes very low maintenance undies.

    So they have cotton crotches?

sorry but these do not have any cotton

    Comfortable, expensive, fade and stretch

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I invested in buying all Ex-officio underwear - over the past 3 years - both these and the "boy short" - I purchased about 16 of them, in many colors - both those shown here and others that have since been discontinued.

They are extremely comfortable and stay dry, as well as drying fast - overnight - when hand washed.

However, I have found that these just don't do very well over a longer period of time being washed in a home washing machine, even on delicate cycle - (the upright kind of washer, not the new High Efficiency kind) - and then being placed in a full-heat dryer, with the rest of my underthings. I've had to replace them as they faded and became stretched out from the washing/drying process.

I think these are well made, but the "technical" fabric is just not up to every-day wear and frequent washing. I would buy these for travel and other special uses - but for the expense - I find that much less expensive 3-to a package for $10 cotton full-cut or boy-cut underwear is just as comfortable - and fine as long as I have access to a washing machine. I'm saving the ones that are still in decent condition for travel - about 4-5 pair - and the others that are still left have to be thrown out over the next 6 months as they get to the point where the fabric loses its shape to the point of becoming uncomfortable. Best of luck with your holiday shopping!

I agree! $18.00/ pair is way too much! Do they even have a cotton crotch and do they come in boy shorts?

    Very Comfortable

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Great for travel. Easy to pack, wash and dry.
