Ashima Climbing Shoe

The next generation generally pushes the boundaries of climbing to points where Warren Harding himself wouldn't have even dreamed, and given the fact that our youth represent the vertical world's future, it's pretty outrageous the children's climbing shoes are pretty much an afterthought in the climbing market. At least that's what we imagined Evolv thought while designing the Kids' Ashima Climbing Shoe, which gives a performance that would add envy to any strong boulderer or sport climber over the age of consent.

As its name suggests, the shoe was designed with Ashima Shiraishi, who was the first female to boulder V15 at the young age of fourteen, so it only made sense for Evolv to collaborate this shoe's development with such a talented climber. It sports an aggressive downturn with an ultra-sensitive sole that ensures proper precision on minuscule footholds found on overhung boulders in Australia, Hueco Tanks, and more. The anatomic sole is crafted of Evolv's ever-popular Trax rubber, and the VTR3D rand keeps the sole downturned for seasons. Evolv made the upper out of a classic leather, and there's a non-stretch lining to keep the size perfect.
