    FR Lite Protector Hydration Backpack

The Evoc Lite Protection Hydration Pack offers you the most convenient way to stay hydrated and protected while you’re out on the trail. The FR Lite is the smallest of Evoc’s Protector series, and while it feels incredibly light and minimal, the pack provides you with 10 liters of cargo volume and accommodates hydration systems (not included) of up to 3 liters. The FR Lite is made with a durable and water-resistant blend of PU-coated ballistic ripstop nylons, and Evoc includes Air Mesh paneling along the rear to ensure you stay cool. The pack also includes smaller pockets for your cellphone, tools, and other ride essentials, and features reflective webbing and a light clip for improved visibility in low-light conditions. Most importantly, all of Evoc’s Protector packs are CE-certified with Liteshield Back Protector Technology. This super-light protection system reduces shock to the spine by up to 95% upon impact and is completely replaceable if it’s damaged. Moreover, this system only adds around 150 grams, so you can ride hard without being weighed down.

    Saved my travels!

After spending so much time in the airport and running around from canceled flights and delayed flights, this pack sat so comfortably on my back and shoulders with a chest and waist strap.

      Not Just for Riding

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The Evoc FR Lite Protector Hydration Pack is so multi-use I can't even handle it. Take it out riding when you are doing some rad enduro ripping. It has a an awesome light weight back protector that offers a little more security and protection should the unthinkable happen. It also can accommodate a hydration pack if you are going to be out for awhile. I love the straps, they are absolutely comfortable and offer great support. Also, I am about 5'4", 125 pounds, 130 pounds on the weekdays or after I feast a bit. I chose the size small and it fits awesome.

The best part about the pack was being able to remove the back protector and traveling with it while I flew out to races. It had a few compartments internally and external to keep a few things organized. It wasn't meant for ultra-organization so make sure you bring a few Zip-Lock baggies to help out. I also used additional straps to hold my POC Octal helmet on. This thing is rad.

Hi Sarah, thanks for the review. I would like to purchase this protective hydration bag, but curious to know where or if the addition straps for your helmet was included with the pack.

Hi, I have checked on this and it looks like Sarah has the Evoc FR Lite Team pack. It costs a few dollars more and includes the helmet holder and has an extra pocket on the hip belt:

      How to Measure Your Torso:
Measure your torso length by bending your head forward so your chin touches your chest. Feel for the most prominent bump at the back of your neck. Now measure from that point down to an imaginary line connecting the tops of your hips around your back. This works best with a partner's help.
