EMU Stinger Lo Boot - Women's
EMUStinger Lo Boot - Women's

Happy toes equal a happier you.

Kathy, your big toe, has had it with being frozen and so have your other toes. They have all banded together and politely ask for you to slide your feet into a pair of the EMU Women’s Stinger Lo Boots. Kathy says that the super soft and comfortable Australian sheepskin will make your feet melt and toes rejoice. You can also kick it outside, thanks to its water-resistant sheepskin outer fabric and durable EMUsole. The sheepskin fabric also naturally wicks moisture away so you don’t scare off your kitty when you take the Stingers off at the end of the day.

Made in China

    I bought the Stringer LO for my wife about 8 years ago, at the time they were made in Australia. I sent an email to EMU with pictures of these boots and they are now made in China. The sole is no where near the same quality of the older versions.

      I have a wide foot so I'm so glad I found these boots! I wish I would have found these before I invested in those other Australia boots. Don't get me wrong, those other ones are great boots as well, but a bit snug fitting for someone with a wide foot. These are perfect fit, comfy, and warm. Over the Christmas break I went on a 3 hour hike in several inches of snow and my feet stayed warm, dry and comfortable. I have really tested these boots out over the last month and they look like they just came out of the box. Very happy and will be for another pair I'm sure.

      Are the black ones really black? Because...

      Are the black ones really black? Because the picture shows a brown boot, and ive been looking at these shoes on different websites and this is deffinitly not the black ones..So i dont know if it is just the wrong picture or if you guys have it wrong

      Thank you,

      The black ones are actually black. I ordered the black in hopes of getting the color in the picture and they came as black.

      REALLY weird fit

      • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

      These are some nice looking boots. They look soft, warm, and well-made. Based on other reviews, I was prepared for some funky fitting situations, but I got them on S&C and was prepared to deal with pretty much anything because I wanted them so bad.

      Most of the boot fit perfectly, but for some reason the heal is like twice as wide as the rest of the boot and my heal slipped out with every step. It was really weird because the rest of it fit very well (just a little snug, which is good because I know they stretch) but I couldn't get over the heal thing. I was really disappointed. It seems like a really weird way to make boots, because I can't imagine what type of foot that would fit.

      These should definitely be tried on in a store before buying online.

      Hey there! Your fit description with the heel being wider is super accurate... I know that these boots are designed that way however, they're supposed to have a 'slipper' fit. EMU makes lower volume heels for a more snug boot fit, but all of the stingers are meant to fit loose in the heel for that comfortable slipper fit. Not for everyone, but it's meant to be that way. :-)

      Warm, oh-so-snuggly, and I agree that they are meant to be roomy and comfortable. HOWEVER, having said that, the best solution is SIZE DOWN ONE SIZE because they do run large. They're not meant to be your skin-tight date-night Italian designer boot. They do what they're designed to do--easy, great casual look, warm, cushy. I will always have a pair of these on hand for cold weather. Word of caution: waterproof them for those slushy days and avoid deep puddles.

      Snug as a bug in a rug!

        Wife loves them!! Always has cold feet and these keep her toasty warm. If you want warm "piggies" this is the ticket.

        This is the info I found:

        * Boot opening measures approximately 11 1/2" around
        * Heel measures approximately 1"
        * Platform measures approximately 3/4"
