Fix your bike like the pros.
There's a reason the Elite Race Pro Work Stand is the stand of choice for pro teams like Europcar and Katusha. It's a simple, lightweight, aluminum stand that folds quickly and easily for transport, with three stable non-slip legs for support and a pivoting top bar that gives you 360-degree access without having to move.
To attach your bike to the stand, simply pop off the front wheel and attach your fork to the sliding mount, which adjusts to your frame length with the pull of a lever. Your bottom bracket rests on the back side of the bar, so you can pivot the bike up and around the fork for easier access. When your baby is shiny and running like a dream, simply pop it off the rack, fold down the collapsible arms, and tuck the Race Pro away until your next maintenance session.
- Q & A
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I do my own quick/light maintenance repairs as well as cleaning and this certainly makes all of that so much easier. I needed something light and compact as well as I didn't want to worry about the issues of clamping onto a carbon fiber seat post. It folds up compact and I just keep it in the corner of my garage. I've used it several times, it's quick to get a bike on and off. It's light yet sturdy and I've had no problems with the quality of it.
will this work with 15mm thru axle forks? Is an adapter needed/included? Can you mount a 12x142 rear mountain bike backwards to do fork service? I see on the Elite website that they are mounting a road bike via the rear axle, but as a mountain biker will this stand work? (I'm guessing that the new 110/148 boost frames will not work with this)
