70 years of perfection.

Over the past 20 years, a lot of cycling clothing brands have popped up that pitch attention to detail and lux design elements as their key selling points. And while 20 years is an impressive tenure, it certainly doesn't hold a candle to the 70 that De Marchi has spent defining the "attention to detail and lux design elements" approach. We love the Italian brand's kit, so we joined forces to create the special edition Tricolore Men's Jersey in homage to our mutual passion for all things cycling and Italian.

For the base, we opted for De Marchi's PT jersey, a long-time brand staple and the workhorse training option of many Competitive employees. The jeresy's lightweight microfiber fabric wicks moisture and breathes while presenting a soft face to your skin. This will help you stay cool and dry in the saddle, while the full-length front zip provides unlimited ventilation options and raglan sleeves facilitate reach to the bars. As with most De Marchi jerseys, the Tricolore isn't a painted-on race model; rather, it's built with a tailored-but-comfortable fit: classic without riding like a shapeless sack.

  • A daily workhorse cycling jersey with some Italian flair
  • Saddle-specific fit is contoured but not aggressively aerodynamic
  • Lightweight microfiber rides soft and wicks with a passion
  • Full-length zipper facilitates emergency heat dumps
  • Rear pockets provide space for ride essentials
  • Special edition design created in partnership with Competitive Cyclist

Not bad.

  • Size Bought: large

Not my favorite jersey, but nice. I like the neck, shoulder, and arm fit. The waist fit is quite loose and flops in the wind. I would say it's more of a club fit jersey. I prefer a tighter fit around the sides and waist area. The material feels a bit cheap and not overly comfortable for De Marchi.

I agree with everything you wrote. It looks better than it feels, but it's overall a good jersey. It feels very "thin" material.

Awesome jersey

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

If you're looking for a black, no thrills jersey, this one fits the bill perfectly. It's rather understated so it may not be everyone's taste, but I personally love the design. The material is not fancy or high tech, but neither the rough, cheap-looking polyester many cycling jerseys are made of. It has a slight shine to it, and feels quite smooth. I'm just about 5'9, 155 lbs, with a 40 inch chest, and medium fits perfectly. At the current price, it's a great deal in my personal opinion.

Cool design but not so great quality

I was expecting more out of this jersey, the design is superb, however dont expect a Castelli or Cycology quality jersey.

    Great product too small

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: XL

This jersey manufacturer has a quality product, however the jersey ran small. It is unfortunate as I was very content with the product. Michael B.

I wear xxxl in santini slim fit, what size would I order for the tricolore top? I'm 6'4 175lbs and 42 chest.

Can't help you, I'm 5'8, 145 lbs. But, FYI, the small was very long. I usually fit perfectly into small in Castelli, Santini, Rapha.

    i'm 6'3" 185lb and wear a large in De Marchi, but I prefer a less race-cut fit. I also have a medium that I wear when I'm at 180lb.

If you want a slim fit, go with the medium; for a little extra mid-ride pastry room, get a large. I for one always err on the side of pastries.
