Dale of Norway Anniversary Sweater - Men's

Dale is old.

Dale of Norway celebrates its 125th year by detailing the Men's Anniversary Sweater with famous Norwegian details like the eight-petal rose and the Setesdal Valley cross. The sweater's wool comes straight out of Norway too, and it's known for its durability as well as its warmth. There's a zipper at the neck for ventilation and a drawcord at the hem to seal out cold drafts.

I get it now

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: True to size

I never quite understood why the Dale of Norway sweaters are so expensive, but after giving one as a gift I can see why. My husband's the kind of guy that will wear one thing into the ground, so it has to be of pretty high quality (his last go-to was a Patagonia wool sweater that was discontinued). Comfy for everyday, nice enough for get-togethers, and really warm and well put-together. It's worth the investment, because it's truly an heirloom kind of sweater, that will be going strong and looking good for a long time to come.
