    Dakine ... Chinese Garbage!!!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

After only a couple months of use the interior lining tore away without the help of TSA.

Dakine takes 3-4 weeks to even process your claim for “Lifetime Warranty” limited is the key word and I can’t wait a month to find out if this $250 roller bag will be covered. Do yourself a favor and order Patagonia, NorthFace or tryout backcountrys line. Whatever you do don’t buy this cheap light weight canvas. No water protection and the stitching is rushed Chinese’s factory nonsense... oh yeah, the roller bag doesn’t stand up when fully loaded or under loaded. Save yourself the time, money and headache I am currently dealing with.

    Dakine ... Chinese Garbage!!!

    Bigger then it looks

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Got this thinking it might not be big enough but ended up being much bigger than it appears. Love the durability of it and travels well.

    Ready 2 Roll beta

      Great Bag

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have used this bag on quite a few trips since I have purchased it. The dividers in the bag are great for keeping your clothes separate and you can put your wet clothes in the compartment that does not have a mesh zippered cover so you can keep your other gear dry. I have packed enough clothes in this bag for a 2 week trip with no troubles. The bag itself is not super heavy so you can pack more into it before you go over the 50lb limit on the airlines.

      Fits so much!

I got this for my brother when he moved to Bali and he loves it so much! He was able to fit so much that he over packed! Definitely recommend if you are a traveler!

        Perfect Size!

        • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Gave this as a gift to my daughter who travels a lot. She loves how she can fit ALL of her things in it, and even when full, it's still easy for her to lug around. Definitely thinking about getting one for myself.

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

wow so pumped of the size of this bag we traveled with our inflatable paddleboards and all the gear we needed

        Dakine makes great luggage

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Dakine has great luggage. It is built to last. This bag is most definitely our go to bag when traveling for a week or more. Has a ton of space and looks great. I don't think i have ever gotten so many compliments on a roller bag before.

        Great Bag

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have had multiple versions of this bag and the durability and size is astonishing. This is my go to when traveling for big trips where having my own gear is essential. The separate compartments help when packing for multiple adventures where gear or clothing needs to be separated. The bag has lasted through multiple long haul adventures without any issues.

        new go-to checked bag

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Got it as a gift and immediately took it on an 8 day ski trip.

Pros: BIG- you can fit everything in here, including ski boots, all your clothes, helmet (I fit 2), avy gear (even an avy backpack if you pack right), all your other misc stuff...everything and the kitchen sink. Boots go under the top portion in the boot-designed pocket, insulate from damage by putting a fleece or something in the outer pocket directly on top of the boot pocket (outside of the bag)
-wheels are super quiet and super smooth (and replaceable). very easy to roll around
-plenty of pockets for organizing your gear however you want (if you dont want to pack your ski boots as mentioned above). would work equally well for any gear heavy trip that's not skiing
-may be ancillary but easy to spot at the airport as opposed to every other black bag (if you get a pattern)

Cons- heavy. The bag itself weighs 11lbs. Add a pair of ski boots and your basic gear and you can get to 25lbs very easily. Also bc its so big, its easy to overpack. So be conscious so u dont get dinged on overweight fees

Would definitely suggest this bag for anybody looking to consolidate all their luggage into one checked bag, anybody looking to ditch a boot bag, and any other gear intensive expedition. Will be using for fly fishing as the weather turns
