Very compressive, size matters!

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XL

These are some of the highest quality tights I have ever seen. They are relatively thick and insulated, and high high compression. I ordered the XL, however at 6'5" I found that the unique compression strips just did not align properly around my knee. I probably should have known as the sizing chart showed me an inch or two into the XLL size. If this particular model were offered in the XLL size, I would certainly have a pair. Alas, it is not. I really wanted these to work for me.

Didn't fit my freak build

I purchased these for winter running and possibly a compression base-layer to ski in. The warmth is fantastic, I've had them out on many run's in the 20's and they kept my legs warm. The support around the knees was very good; I have runner's knee and the tights gave me enough support to run while going through the IT band recovery and they definitely gave me some confidence.

The fit of size M didn't work well for my body and I'm not sure any size would give a perfect fit: 6'2", 154lbs, 31.5" waist, 34.5" inseam. There was a lot of extra fabric from crotch area to the waist and I have to roll over the top of the waistband to get rid of it, otherwise they go way to high. Conversely, If I leave the waist where it should be they sag.

I have washed them a half dozen times (hand washed in cold) and they are still like the day I bought them. No loose strings or loss of garment form or compression loss so far(~50 runs).

These are a great cold weather tight for many runners or athletes that fall into the fit ranges on the fit chart. For tall, slender athletes, you're probably going to find they don't fit perfect but I've made my work.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Ok, I'm 6ft 34" waist 32" inseam and these fit perfectly! ( I am using a Medium. Goto http://cw-x.com to check size recommendations) the I thought I had to put that out there since "ill5260476's" question remains unanswered. Which for a website is VERY lame!

All that aside, these are incredible tights, I don't feel them as they are so comfortable but I do notice they work fantastic (I notice more spring in my stride & less fatigue) Great warmth without overdoing it (30's in freezing rain)

    Very, very happy with them!!

I will look to pick up another set soon.
