Nice fleece but sleeves top long

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

As the title stated: nice fleece, warm, comfortable. Fit well, except the sleeves are way too long.

Blue fleece

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

Great jacket, but a little too blue for my taste. Also, the pocket area was supposed to be gray, but was the same color as the rest of the fleece. Returning for a refund...

Great hard working Polartec fleece

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

Classic Polartec fleece jacket. This no hood fleece jacket is a great all-around piece that is needed in every modern technical wardrobe. This is a mid weight (200g) fleece that is great for layering or stand alone use. It is not a softshell. This classic style yet higher quality "building block" fleece is getting harder to find. More fleeces these days seem to be transitioning to softshells, hybrids, or even being replaced by puffers. Those that you can find tend to be lightweight or generic polyester or bulky casual pieces. This is not the case with this fleece. It is made from quality Polartec micro fleece. It has a what I will describe as a roomy athletic fit with generous sleeve length. This is allows it to be used alone and is still good for layering either over sweaters (a bit of room) or even under shells (somewhat athletic). The tail drops nicely to cover any cold spots. It also cinches at the bottom which I like. The zippers are high quality and oversized. The seamsand cut of the jacket are more for technical use than casual. The cuffs are elastic and have no thumb holes, but the length makes this unnecessary. It doesn't block wind, but I like this cooling effect as the fleece is very warm. But you will want a shell in cold windy conditions.

So many retail stores want to carry Columbia for their budget offerings, but this is a quality piece. Their Titanium line is always full of proven designs. This is one of them. Not super technical in this case, but just what you need when selecting quality hard working pieces.

Color not as expected

  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

The color is not close to what I was expecting. On both my work and home monitors, the color shows as a dark blue. In reality, it is MUCH lighter.

i got this on sale i see that it had polartec fleece which is middleweight insulated ... perfect for me it keeps me warm in the fall and in the winter i layer up and wear it ..it still keeps me warm ... the only issue i have with it there is 2 inside pockets with no way to close them so you have to keep that in mind when you put stuff in them because it might fall out .. now the other issue i have had with it . the thread on the cuffs on the sleeve where your hands come out started to unreveal i think the reason why it happen i wore it so much so i had to resew it back on there and so far no issue .. as for fit ... it fits regular size i wear Xl it fits me great so if you are looking for a middleweight fleece then try this one out
