Silver Ridge Cargo Pant

From boulder hopping to creek crossing, Columbia's Silver Ridge Cargo Pants are built to keep you moving through the backcountry comfortably. Built with Columbia's durable and moisture-wicking proprietary fabric, these pants will help pull moisture away from your body, leaving you dry and comfortable as you hike. The Silver Ridge also features an added UPF 50 sun protection, so you don't have to worry much about UV rays on those long days out. A partial elastic waist with an integrated belt allows you to get the fit you want, and a crotch gusset will help you scramble up that scree field without any problems.

  • Technical pants for your next hike or camping venture
  • Moisture-wicking fabric encourages evaporative comfort
  • Crotch gusset maximizes your ability to navigate trails
  • Omni-Shade protection defends skin from harmful sun exposure
  • Secure cargo pocket is a great stash for phone or camera
  • Integrated belt provides a secure, adjustable fit

Complete Junk

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

These pants are comfy and have the features I want but are extremely fragile and are of very poor quality. Eight days total of very average use hiking and the stitching is blowing out in multiple places - from the back pockets (best not to sit down, apparently) and from the velcro tabs for the pockets as well as along the legs. The material is super thin and has already abraded in several places with holes appearing in one of the pockets. I guess there is a reason I've avoided this brand and will stick to others with demonstrated durability. I've had similar pants from other brands I've used and abused for years without issue. This purchase was a waste of money and extremely disappointing.

Great Pants

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 38/30

My husband was looking for lightweight pants for when he rides his Can Am Spyder in Colorado. He just loves these!

Very Disappointed

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: 36w/34L

Fit very small..tight.
I have 2 other recent same model and label of these and those fit well. Not these. Very thin material also compared to previous. These will never hold up. Must be a manufacturing defect. Have to return them. Can't wear them.

Great Lightweight Pants

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 32x32

Lightweight, breathable, durable, flexible. You can't go wrong with these pants. I especially like the little built-in belt that it comes with.

Yosemite senders

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 32

So I got these for my boyfriend for his trip to Yosemite and he loved them. When we climbed Nutcracker, he wore them the whole way. He talked about how soft they were and how they kept him cool and dry even in the blazing sun. They were true to size. He said he'd recommend them!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I got a pair of these as a gift for my Dad to travel in. He will now no longer wear anything else. They pack well and fit great.

They get the job done

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 30x30

These pants are pretty decent. Love the look, just wish they were a little less baggy. Also feel pretty thin compared to my other nylon/polyester pants, but that makes them very breathable. I haven't taken them climbing outdoors yet and I'm curious how they'll hold up, considering the material and how thin and flimsy it feels. They're certainly adequate for general outdoor activities.

I own various Columbia clothing. Jackets, pants, many shirts, something is going terribly wrong with

Great Pants

I bought these for my dad for Christmas. He absolutely loved them and wants me to purchase him more pairs of these pants. Loved the fit, style, and cargo pockets.
