- Q & A
Am I gathering correctly from the photo that the lining is only on the bottom in the front? What is the rest of the jacket like? Is it a bare coating? I've had the interior coating on a TNF shell flake off and have been wary of unlined rain jackets ever since.
In case I do decide to go for it, a sizing question - 5'0", 118 lbs, larger bust - which size would work best?
I am from Florida and when it rains it is a hot muggy rain. I am having a hard time finding a rain jacket that is not layered. Would you say this is a thin or light weight material?
Yes, very lightweight. It's unlined.
Is the hood detachable?
No, the hood is fixed, not removable.
Could you please tell me how it says it can be washed? I am trying to see if the off white one is a good choice and can be washed or stick to the black if not easy to wash. Thank you.

Going on a cruise to Alaska. Would this jacket be good for layering underneath? I am looking at the XL. Are they true to size. I usually wear a 18-20 or 1x.
No, they run small, esp in hips. I am a size 20 and 5' 9" but had to order a 3x in the plus version. 2x almost made it for me (too tight on hips, arms too short) but maybe that would be the size for you.

In Illinois the winter is very strong, so I would like to know if this jacket will protect me when the temperature reached -10C.
Jessika Queiroz Severino,
This is a rain jacket that has no insulation. I would suggest you look into some down fill insulated jackets for the cold temperatures you experience during the winter in Illinois.

i am 5' 4",110 ponds and bust measure is 34 with a tshirt. which size should i go for ? xs or s ?thank you .
Seeing as you are right in-between sizes you could safely go either way depending on if you like a snug sleeker fit or a loose relaxed fit. Personally, especially with this style of jacket I tend to size up.

I am 5'4" but about 135-140 lbs... should I get the medium or the small?? I just don't want it to be too long...
Its really had to judge with only your height and weight since a lot of different body types carry weight differently. If you could include your bust measurement so that we could better compare your specs against the size chart then we might really be able to narrow down your size. I am however a gambling man and based on the limited info we have I would be you are about a womens size 8 which would put you in a medium.

I'm trying to choose between the small and the medium. I'm 5'5" and weigh 120 lbs. I would like to layer with this, and normally wear a small or extra small when it comes to TNF jackets. How does the shoulder width compare to TNF jackets?
I'm 5'5" and 120 lbs. I buit the small, and I love it

How think is this jack, I know it says you can layer. But is it thin or have somewhat thickness to it?
This jacket isn't very thick, more of an outer rain jacket shell, you could definitely layer underneath and would want to for colder weather.
How is this sizing/fit compared to TNF...
How is this sizing/fit compared to TNF Osito, Venture or Denali jackets? What is the classic modern fit?
This jacket will be longer than those TNF jackets, this has a 31 inch center back length as compared to 25.5 inches on TNF.
The classic modern fit is a more cut jacket-less baggy/bulky and includes the longer cut, to reach further down your legs.
