Not bad
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Large
I like this jacket, it's comfortable to wear and easy to move in. I ordered it because I wanted something warm but not bulky for the winter. I can't stand wearing puffer coats while driving or shoveling snow because they restrict movement and constantly make that crunchy sound. This was warm enough with layers under it for me to wear in 20 degrees. It's not very thick but the outside material is dense and the inside is a soft and shiny (not crunchy) heat retaining material. I'm not crazy about the feel of the outside material, it reminds me of a rug. The fit isn't the most flattering but it runs true to size. I'm 5'9, 165lbs, 36ddd, usually a medium or 10 in clothes, but I buy larges in coats for extra room in the shoulders and chest. It fits good in the top but because it is cut like a rectangle (straight down), it tents out in the belly and then gets more fitted from the butt going down. It almost makes me look pregnant. The length hits me just below the knees. The sleeves are a few inches too short and look off compared to the oversized, long look of the jacket. It has nice deep pockets on the hips and one zippered pocket at the chest that is unfortunately placed, I wouldn't put anything in there. It has a double zipper that starts mid thigh and snap buttons for the whole length of the jacket. I like the gray camo print. It's a nice jacket, I just wish it looked more flattering on.
