Always be ready for a little rain.

Throw a pair of Columbia Men's Glennaker Lake Rain Pants in your backpack when there's a chance of rain in the forecast. These pants pack into their back pocket, so you can be prepared without sacrificing a ton of space, even when you're only hiking with a small hydration pack. Columbia's waterproof Hydroplus nylon will keep the rain out, and with the elastic waist and adjustable drawcord, you can button up the hatches so you don't get anything trickling in from the top.

You get what you pay for. Certainly not the greatest. But they kept my legs dry and seem fairly durable. For the price they are fair value.

Might as well wear nothing!

Useless. Completely non waterproof!

Awful

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

I wore them for the first time today. I sat on a wet seat and the water soaked through and got my jeans wet that I was wearing underneath the rain pants. I am not sure why these are branded as waterproof as they do not keep you dry.

I compete disc golfing and when it starts down pouring during a tournament I can easily slid these over my pants and stay dry.

First day wearing these I took a pretty good spill and bloodied up my knee... Absolutely no damage to the pants though. So they will certainly stand the test of time.
