Not to copy Danner, but this is amazing!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have much outdoor clothing, but rarely review and never use a work like "amazing". This is. Very soft. Roomy (i.e., comfortable) going on, roomy after first pulled down, and then as perfectly snug as desired using the drawcords. Snug in perfect alignment and exactly where you want it snug.
Yes, it is is versatile and can be used in many positions with each of those positions adjustable as you wish. To some that might sound overly complicated but those adjustments are the epitome of ease and simplicity.
It looks a bit like a cowl when off, but once on that roominess (comfort) becomes a finely tuned hood for any occasion. Amazing!

Amazing Ninja Hood!

It extremely warm, stylish, versatile, and comfy. It's like putting a blanket around your face.

Unanswered Question

With this item, will the center oart of this garmet stay snug over the wearers nose? I'm looking for a good fit to cover the mouth and nose during exersion of xc skiing, and dont want to have to make frequent adjustments. I do see the drawstrings but am not sure if these affect the outer layer, or inner and outer as one.

Thanks
