The first day I wore these boots I hit a piece of debris in the street and my bike ended up skidding on its side. I was fine but the street left a good mark on the boots and nearly tore through the laces. Good timing!! My old sneakers wouldn't have provided me that support and I'm sure I would have gotten scraped up. These boots are thick, tough, and waterproof. They took a week or two to break in, but after that have been quite comfortable. They are also warm... Perfect for winter but they will be way too hot once we get into spring in NY. I am very happy with them. They are designed for biking but also look good on the office or walking around. My only minor complaint is that the bottoms can be quite slick but, again, they are designed for biking so it's fair.

I have had my Storm 415 Work Boots for about 4 years now and have loved them. I live in Portland, OR and wear these for about half the year, sometimes more if it's particularly rainy. I am super impressed with these boots. They are indeed waterproof (not just water resistant) and fit super well. I have not had any issues with Chrome shoes fitting small. When I first bought these I worried that my feet would get all hot and sweaty because of the waterproof nature, however that has not been the case. These boots are amazingly comfortable. After 4 years of wear I just now felt like I needed to buy a new pair (which I did). As long as Chrome makes these boots I will have a pair.

I typically wear a size 9.5 in most shoes but grabbed these in a size 9 and 10 just to test it out because they seemed like they were less likely to break in. Glad I did, the 9 was far too small while the 10 fit pretty well. I gotta be honest, the first two days wearing these were incredibly uncomfortable, they hurt like shit. However, once broken in they are some of my favorite boots and wear them every time I ride my bikes (moto and cycle) - see boot on first rider below for reference.

Great winter shoe. Stops water/snow and is nice and warm. Con. The toe box is to tight. My foot fit great when I first got them it was a little tight but figured they would just need to be broken into. The toe box is still to tight my toes can't move so they start to get cold. I should have got a half size bigger, but I worried they would be to long. Wish they were to long vs to tight.

Yesterday I was telling my wife that these may be the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned. Seriously. It takes about a week to break these in, but they have softened up nicely, and I've been wearing them all day, every day. They held up well through the last snow we had, and I was definitely appreciating that I got the waterproof version. The construction is solid, and I expect to have these for quite a few years, just like my Chrome bag. They're pricey, but totally worth it in.
