Chaco ZX/1 EcoTread Sandal - Girls'
ChacoZX/1 EcoTread Sandal - Girls'

Time for her first 'Z' tan.

Happy trail times lie ahead once your lady hiker slips on the Chaco ZX/1 Kids Sandal and heads out to spend her whole Saturday in the woods. The twin polyester straps yield a more comfortable, foot-conforming fit that really makes a difference during the sixth mile, and the arch-supporting Addstride footbed matches her foot so well that she may not take it off until October.

  • A partially recycled, non-marking EcoTread outsole grips the trail during summer treks and river walks
  • The ChaPU midsole cushions her strides during a long day hike to her favorite waterfall
  • Washable materials and design lets you clean it after a muddy day on the trail

Girls Chacos

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

My daughter wears these for everything. Unlike styles in the past she did not have to wear these in. They were comfortable from the start. NO blisters.

Avoid barefoot gas stations

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Bought these for my daughter, she loves them. She hikes in them, wears them to the lake and they are easy enough to slide on that during long road trips she doesn't try and go barefoot.

Great sandals

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I picked these up for my 8 year old daughter, she's had a pair every summer. They have great support, long lasting and adjustable straps for a perfect fit.

Couldn't fit better

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: True to size

These will give a great arch support and with the adjustable straps they are ease to grow into. they are a durable option and a good versatile option from summer play to the beach to camping with the fam. Being minimal when it comes to materials doesn't mean discomfort your little one will love these in their fun colors to!

I bought these for my daughter and she absolutely loves them and she is very rough on shoes but these actually hold up unlike other brands I have bought!!! I will definitely buy more!!!!

Comfortable, stay on, excellent shoes!

I got these shoes a few months ago for when I spend the summer abroad and can't wear flip flops. I used to have Keens, which gave me blisters when I wore them for a while, and came off of my feet if I stepped in mud or swam out of my kayak (and I'd rather not lose my shoes half way down the river). I've kayaked in these shoes multiple times now and they have never come off my feet when I didn't want them too. They also don't pinch me or give me blisters like my keens did. Also great for wearing around college, and attractive for what they are. I have really small feet (I'm 20 and bought a children's size 3), and the straps are a little big on my feet still and i have to crank them all the way down when I go kayaking/am worried about them falling off. I probably could have gotten a size 2. Great shoes and well worth the money!

Jacqueline, what size do you normally wear in women's? my wife wears a 5 1/2. trying to figure out what size in kids she would wear.

I would size down two. But to play it safe, I'd get her a kids size 4, since she's a half size. (Sorry I'm not Jacqueline) :D

Camp, hiking, and daily life must-have.

I've had these shoes for almost 2 years now and absolutely love them. I'm an adult size 7 and I got a size 5 in these and they fit PERFECTLY. As a college student, I can't afford to be buying new shoes frequently, but I've almost worn mine out between 2 summers of being a camp counselor, hiking, and walking around campus during the school year. Overall, 2 years of hard wear and tear on a kid's shoe is pretty great for me, so I'll probably be buying another pair soon!

My only word of caution: don't wear them tubing if you value your toenails.

Update (after another year): I've officially worn these out. I pronate out really bad and have worn through the tread. I would still say these shoes are well worth the $50 I spent.

Perfect Fit!

I bought these Chacos wanting to try and get a more accurate fit, as I have pretty small feet. (I'm 5'4", and my shoe size is between 6 and 6.5) Sometimes I will try and fit in a 7 in womens, but they are always a bit roomy. Going with a size 6 in this pair of chacos was a great decision! Great fit, and amazing footbed feel!!

Hiking through Coyote Gulch

This is my first pair of Chacos, I am 22 years old with a women's size 6 foot. I was able to fit into the Girls size 5.0 but honestly think the Girls size 4.0 would have been better for me. With the size 5.0, to get the Chacos tight when hiking through water and hard terrain, I had to crank the straps all the way down for that snug fit. With the size 4.0, I feel like it would be easier to adjust the shoes to my feet. Performance was great! Walking in and out of water, these shoes are perfect and great for a easy summer hike! Very casual too, the bright colors are pretty in person! These shoes feel very durable, I'm guessing these will last me a long time!

    Exactly what I wanted!!!

They fit perfect and they are exactly what I wanted! They are perfect for summer and they are durable! I wear them every day and they still look new!! :) I love them!

      Great for tiny feet

I´m actually 16, I go hiking lots and rock climbing too, these are great because they´re easy to take on and off to get into my climbing shoes. And I was so glad to see a size that fits my little feet. (kids 3) and I love to use them. I can hike in them for hours.

Katarina, what size of shoe do you normally wear. My wife wears a 5 1/2. thinking about a 3 or 4

Straps are comfortable and keep the sandals on well. The classic chaco straps are a little difficult for kids to slide into.

          Perfect all Around Shoe

Playing, hiking, headed to the pool. These shoes stay on better than most sandals and they straps adjust to your little ones feet. Colors are bright.
