Capo Pursuit Roubaix Bib Knickers
CapoPursuit Roubaix Bib Knickers

Full comfort in 3/4 length.

Capo's Corsa line of clothing focuses on combining breathability and a hint of muscle-stabilizing compression in a classic, European-inspired design. This comfort-themed recipe results in the ideal platform for cold-weather cycling gear. By starting with the Corsa's basic ethos and adding insulation, Capo produced the Pursuit Roubaix Bib Knickers, the ideal length, weight, and overall fit for maintaining fall form, grinding it out in 'cross, or building spring base miles from the low-40s to the mid-50s.

To strike the perfect balance between comfort and warmth, Capo constructed the Pursuit Roubaix bib knickers from Thermo Roubaix Tech fabric. Thermo Roubaix Tech's open, hollow core weave increases insulation by creating pockets of trapped air. It also accelerates moisture transfer from the skin to the quick-drying surface of the knickers, and the soft, brushed lining continues the focus on warmth and comfort.

For the chamois, Capo went with the Elastic Interface Technology (EIT) Anatomic-L High Density Carbon insert. This chamois uses a horst and graben topography of high-density foam padding that varies from three to ten millimeters thick to support the regions that need the most support, without impacting the ones that don't. The Anatomic-L incorporates carbon micro fibers for anti-microbial properties and moisture transfer. Its construction is meant to ensure comfort in a road-cycling position over a medium-length ride.

The multi-panel construction means that the knickers move with your body rather than against it, and the flatlock seams are strategically oriented to avoid sensitive or abrasion-prone areas like the knees. The back of the bibs themselves are made from V Mesh 360 to regulate your temperature and provide additional stretch and breathability.

The Capo Pursuit Roubaix Bib Knickers are available in five sizes ranging from Small to XX-Large in the color Black.

Good if on sale

For me, these knickers are not warm enough for temps below mid 40's. The fabric is fleecy inside, but without windstopper or some other wind bloc material I found my knees getting cold and uncomfortable (went out and bought some embro!). Above mid 40's I think I will be wearing these quite a bit. As with all cycling shorts, you do get better comfort and performance as you spend more money. For this purchase, I just wanted to spend a moderate sum and the sale price was a good value. The chamois is OK, but not as good as my top end shorts (Castelli and Assos).

Won't last very long.

They are already wearing in the seat after only a few rides. None of my other clothing is wearing in the seat the way these are, so it's not the seat on my bike. Considering returning for replacement because for the money spent, they are not worth it.

Very good product , Can stand wide range of temperature variation (from 34 to 55 F) witout genrating discomfort . Well design and manufactured .Very good muscular compression.
Only improvement would come from having more reflective elements on , since colder days mean shorter daylight period and often finishing my rides in the dark . Would increase safety .
