Fast alpine traction meets lightweight efficiency in the Peak 12 Aluminum Crampon
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I reach for these when the objective is long and the pace is high. The weight savings are immediately noticeable, but the fit doesn’t feel compromised. Once dialed, they stay solid on firm snow and ski mountaineering terrain without feeling bulky."
We plan fast days in the mountains where every ounce matters, and the Peak 12 Aluminum Crampon is designed to keep up with that approach. C.A.M.P. built this crampon for light and fast mountaineering and ski mountaineering, where efficient movement and reliable traction define the day. On long approaches, steep snowfields, and high routes, it delivers confidence without unnecessary weight.
The aluminum front and rear construction keeps the overall system light while maintaining a full 12-point layout for secure footing. The patented Boot Adapt System allows the front section to be configured to match the shape of either ski boots or mountaineering boots, improving fit and lateral stability. A micrometric linking bar fine-tunes length across a wide range of boot sizes and folds neatly for storage, while integrated anti-balling plates help prevent snow buildup when conditions soften.
