Great for summer sports
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
This backpack only has two fairly small pockets, and one unzippered pouch, it gives you enough room to carry some snacks and maybe one lightweight layer. Its very lightweight and great for mountain biking or quick hikes. I would not buy this version of camelbak if you're looking to do longer day hikes or need to carry lots of stuff for your kids, dog, etc. This pack also has a clip to hold the tubing down on the straps so it doesn't flop around while you're moving.
good for price
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Good size and pocket location to carry both your water and personal belongings
Perfect small pack.
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
This pack is perfect for day hikes! Holds plenty of water to stay hydrated but isn't bulky and doesn't get in the way. I've also used it on a few trail runs and it doesn't bounce around as much as I thought it would which was a major bonus. Will definitely put this one through the wringer.
Great pack for entire family
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I got this pack for a long weekend of hiking and it was great. No leaking and comfortable to wear. We went on several pretty long hikes and it kept us hydrated throughout the trip. About halfway through the weekend, my 9 year old daughter took over wearing the pack. Although I didn't buy it for her, she enjoyed having it and it was a great size for her too. Great pack for all!
you had one job...
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
so considering this is one of the more well known brand names out there, i figured id play it safe spend the extra cash and get a CamelBak Rogue, Wow was i dissapointed. first time i filled it with water it leaked all thruout the the bag. i thought maybe i didnt twist the seal tight enough or maybe the seal wasnt straight, nope. after about ten minutes and about 50 attempts i came to terms with the fact that this product straight up sucks. im shipping this back for return and it sucks cause i lost 6.99 on a shipping label for nothing. trust me, go to your local walmart and get yourself a way better water pack for about half the price.
Exactly what I was looking for
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I was looking for a pack that did NOT involve my waist at all, yet had decent storage for the day. This is perfect. Holds a good amount of water while also stowing phone, keys, snacks, etc.
I feel naked without this thing
Holds enough water for long rides. The front pouch is great for holding your phone, keys, and snacks. I was even able to cram a mini pump and spare tube in the compartment that holds the bladder. At this point, I wouldn't ride without it.
Perfect for little rides/riders
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Great pack for smaller riders and little rides. Got it for my mom, and she is loving it.
this is my 2nd one
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
perfect size and mountain biking a little small but holds enough energy food and water for a day ride
Inferior to the synchro
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Great pack but the synchro is a better pick in my opinion. Better support with virtually the same design.
Product ok but too small for me!
Product ok but was too small for my shoulders to get comfortable with. But I'm disappointed in Backcountry return. They need to explain a little more on the return policy! I got screwed big time on this product with the original shipping cost! I will never buy anything from Backcountry ever again! Don't return anything to them!
Decent pack
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
First impressions are not bad. Looks like it will hold up good and has a nice hydration pack and valve. Fits a little snug but I'm pretty broad shouldered. Should work nicely for day hikes and biking.
