Kick back with the Kickbak.

An appropriate way to comfortably enjoy wintry mornings is by pairing a full puffy outfit with CamelBak's Kickbak Insulated Mug. This vessel keeps your coffee piping hot for four hours, so you'll have plenty of time to count snowflakes while the sun welcomes you to a new day. Alternatively, this insulated mug also keeps cold drinks fresh for eight hours, so you can enjoy a crisp IPA by the lake on a warm summer evening, and the cup's stainless steel construction doesn't retain tastes from previous drinks (after a good scrub, of course) so today's beer doesn't taste like last season's coffee.

  • Insulated mug keeps drinks hot or cold for a long time
  • Stainless steel doesn't retain tastes from previous drinks
  • Splash-proof, dual-flip lid designed for hot and cold drinks
  • Ergonomic grip with base that fits most cup holders

leaky top - returning this mug

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I was disappointed in this item - maybe I had a defective product, but I found both sides of the aperture, when closed, leaked when tipped a little bit. I'm going to look for a mug with a better seal.

Everyday Rambler

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

No issues with stains after a couple months of coffee use!

Well made insulated mug

This is my go to mug now, especially for hot beverages. The lid is simple and well designed, with a small slot for drinking hot beverages and a wider opening for cold.

Great Everyday Mug

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is my go-to coffee mug in the mornings. I love how the cap has two holes that you can open or close easily. It doesn't leak and it's a great size. I got it in the electric green color and love the way it looks. It's not too big and fits in my car's cup holder. Definitely recommend this for hot or cold beverages. Would make a great gift!

Hot, Cold, Simple Mug

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

So, I was looking for a new mug and noticed you really can't find one without a valve with complex mechanics. Problem is, unless you buy a specific brush kit to clean these other mugs you will be drinking flakes of your coffee remnants from back before your kids were born. Seriously, I like my coffee simple and the mug I drink it from should be too.
