Burton Vida Pant - Women's

Pure bliss.

Effortlessly blending high-fashion and a slim, street-inspired cut with legendary waterproof/breathable protection, the Burton Women's Vida Pant keeps you stylishly protected from the elements, regardless of the conditions outside. Its DryRide Durashell membrane offers an admirable level of waterproof protection. Fully sealed seams prevent moisture from seeping through, ensuring complete dryness on deep powder days and late-season slush laps. Note that the Tahoe Enzyme Wash colorway sports a more premium fabric, offering higher levels of breathability (10k versus 5k), as well as a lifetime warranty.

Mesh-lined thigh vents quickly expel excess heat on those warmer spring days, ensuring maximum comfort through a wide range of temperatures. The strategically mapped taffeta lining keeps the pants soft and breathable, allowing you to fine-tune the level of warmth underneath through layering. An integrated waist adjustment keeps the pants nice and secure when you're blasting down morning groomers and dropping into the park. Other stand-out features include fashion-savvy Metaluxe zippers, quilted hand-warmer pockets, and back-flap pockets for convenient storage.

I was Sceptical, am now amazed!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: Small

I bought these pants honestly because they were cheap and matched my colors. I had to order S, M and L before I found my perfect fit. I am normally wearing L or M, here I had to go with S.

(L) was way too big. Better fit for a built man.
(M) was a little loose around the back area,
(S) seemed to be too tight and snug.

I decided to give (S) a shot and WOW! They're like Marry Poppins Pants :D I thought they would be too tight, but I still had room for tights underneath and I could stretch in every direction with no problems.

They are snowproof, look great and participated in every stretch and move without ever being a hindering. My "snow-leggings".

I would always buy them again and recommend them to others. I like the little design lashes it has and the pant hooks on the bottom that help you with not stepping on your pant legs and to not be in the way when strapping into snowboard bindings. The air vents on the inside of the thighs are perfect for spring skiing! They definitely look better on the person than on that picture.

Bottom Line: Love these! Buy them smaller!

These pants are awesome and so cute, but the fit for me was bad. I am 5'4, 150 lbs ex-gymnast/power lifter. They were super tight in the thighs and butt, then massive in the waist. If your build sounds similar to mine and you typically have trouble finding pants that fit right, don't bother with these.

Soo.. I bought these pants LY and returned them... but after reading some of the reviews about improvements made, I decided to try them again, and I'm sure glad I did!

I'm usually a medium or large in Burton, I have the Burton AK pant, and size medium fits perfectly and are even a little baggy, these pants however, I bought in a Large, and I love the fit. They are definitely slimmer, but have plenty or room to layer under them. I bought the Black and loved them so much I got camo too!

So nice I bought them twice!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: xl

I bought a pair of Vida pants last season and loved them so much that I bought another pair this year as well. I couldn't resist that camo!

The sizing is a *bit* bigger for 16/17 vs 15/16 but not enough that you would need to buy a size down from your normal size. They are definitely roomier than most slim fit pants due in large part to the generous stretch of the material. These pants fit like your favorite pair of jeans and are supremely comfortable - sometimes I don't even change out of them for the long drive home. Helps that they are super flattering too.

I love that the pockets are large enough (and stretchy enough) to hold your phone and other small items so I can just wear a hoodie on warm spring days.

This was helpful. How loose is the XL on you?? We're roughly the same size but I'm quite pear shaped.

These snowboarding pants are exactly what I was looking for. Slim fit and light, all the while keeping me dry. I normally wear a mid-weight baselayer but on colder/snowy days I double up and still stay super warm. The pocket space is also efficient for chapstick, my pass and more. If you are looking for an everyday go-to snowboarding pant with lots of style then the Burton Vida is your best choice.

She says they fit snug and super cute.

Got these pants this year and everyone always comments on how much they love them!

True to size. Im kinda short with wide hips and I would say not slim thighs, but these make my legs look GREAT lol. They're definitely slim and sexy. Also really comfortable and movable though, not too low on your hips but not high either, its just right :)

They are super stretchy so even tho they hug, they allow for grabs and bends and falls and sitting and everything else. Ive worn thick base layers under them just fine with no riding up or issues at all. Great for park or even backcountry! Material is really durable too, I got snagged on a limb in the woods and they didn't budge. really impressive actually.

As I said before, Ive worn these with base layers and haven't felt the slightest bit cold in 15 degree backcountry. Ive also worn them on 60 degree day in the park with nothing under just fine. They're really versatile!

Material is surprisingly durable for how lenient it is. The waterproofing is pretty legit too, snow doesn't stick or anything, and never felt a drop of water no matter how long I've sat in the snow for.

I think the ones I got are the brownish/tan looking ones on this page "Evilo" but they are much more vibrant in real life. This pic makes the color look dull, its quite bright! More like a dirty yellow.

I don't think I looked to see the length when I made my purchase. Im 5'4" and thought I bought the regular length, but they're pretty long. I always have to wear them buttoned up in the back (which is awesome that they have too).

I love the fit of these pants - but YIKES they run small. I have a pair of L1ta pants in size medium & air blaster pants in size medium, and I could barely squeeze into a medium in these. Then I tried on a large, and they were like skinny jeans. I guess that's the style? Anyways, they look adorable on other people, I just can't snowboard with pants that tight!
