Boreal Silex Climbing Shoe - Women's
Comfort for the big walls.
The Boreal Women's Silex Climbing Shoe stays comfortable for pitches on pitches of cracks, slabs, and the occasional foothold. Its breathable and padded Air Net lining gives cushy feel every time you jam your foot in a crack, and there's an EVA anti-shock heel for extra comfort. Boreal's Integrated Rand System stabilizes the heel for face and slab moves, and the Slim Fit Last gives a women-specific feel with a lower volume. The FS-Quattro rubber sole offers long-lasting abrasion-resistance, and the split leather upper stretch for a glove-like fit.

Not for me, but seemed like comfy shoes
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Tried these, along with a number of other shoes, recently. Lots of padding--possibly too much for my taste (felt kind of weird to constantly feel my feet pushing against cushioning rather than the ground) but may be good if that's what you're looking for. They seemed to run big; I ordered the same size as my Sportiva Katanas and think I should have ordered at least 0.5 size down. The rounded toe shape doesn't feel like it would edge particularly well, but I didn't test it so can't say for sure.
Great sport/trad shoe for all day comfort.
