Blackburn Wayside Side Entry Cage

Make room for water.

Fitting a water bottle on your brand new trail machine might have been a dream you let go because of rear suspension or piggyback shocks, but Blackburn's Wayside Side Entry Cage might be able to give you back the freedom of riding sans hydration pack. The secure cage is constructed as a two-piece design, so that the bottle can be removed from either the left or right side depending on the setup of your frame, and it's designed with the standard 65mm center-to-center hold spacing with mounting bolts included.

Bottle holder

Holds bottles pretty darn tight, I have lost one due to rock gardens but it's kind of to be expected sometimes

    light, durable

Using this on a 2015 Santa Cruz Nomad. This works well for the most part, the design of the bike is the problem. Once I got the cage assembled the next problem was finding a decent size water bottle. Camelbak 21 oz podium barely fits, the lid rubs the shock just barely.. a 12oz may fit better. I don't usually get the water unless I'm turning around from an out and back ride or pulled off the trail for a breather. The 21oz takes some extra unf to get back in the cage.

    Adjustable, bright, and light weight

The ability to make this a left handed or right handed cage is really what sets this product apart. Super easy to set up comes in several bright colors so you can stand out.

Way to go for a tight frame

Picked this up for my Pivot 429 Trail seeing as the frame on that bike is pretty tight. I don't particularly like to wear a pack when I ride unless it is absolutely necessary. This has allowed me to put a water bottle on my bike, not my body. This along with the seat bag that I have on my bike makes it so I can do short rides with no pack on.
