Perfect Adventure Legging

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I wore these leggings for 4 days straight accidentally. I was on an adventure and not able to get back to my car. These leggings held up through thick and thin. I walked through rivers, climbed up some cracks, and hiked a few mountains. These leggings held up through it all! I only wish that they were a bit shorter, but I know that they are perfect for my taller counter parts!

Perfect Adventure Legging

Pretty Comfy.

  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: S

Okay so I'll preface this review with the following: I'm not much of a legging gal - they don't really appeal to me all that much. I figure, if I'm gonna hang out in what looks like pajamas, might as well be wearing long johns or pajamas. Or, at that rate, might as well just put some pants on.

That being said, I'd heard so many awesome things about the Levitation that I decided to give them a try. And they're verryyy flattering. Whoever designed these leggings knew how to flatter a woman's assets, if you know what I mean. The rise is mega comfortable, and the waist band doesn't pinch. Though, the fabric is a little more thin than I expected, so I don't know how well they would actually hold up when climbing rock. Also, there's mesh inserts at the achilles tendon! Was not expecting that, despite the fact that the description states it. I guess I was sort of envisioning mesh at the back of the knee, like some running tights have. Though, I'm not super keen on the mesh for two reasons: 1 I'm bound to put my toe through it at some point (or at least that's sort of what I'm figuring). 2. I don't see the mesh holding up in terms of elasticity nearly as well when compared to the main fabric. It's certainly a cool addendum, but eh. I could've done without.

As for the size, I could have gone with an XS, but I bought a S. It's got a comfortable fit, albeit it's gently loose in the knees, tush, and slightly in the waist band. Which, for a gal who isn't super stoked on leggings seems like an appropriate fit. For fit reference I wear an XS in Patagonia, Arc'teryx, and Prana.

All in all, it's a pretty cool pair of leggings.

Buying a Second Pair

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: small

I purchased these mainly for rock climbing (indoor and outdoor). I love that they are a little longer. Good quality material that doesn't "ball up" when I am climbing, and they're very comfortable.

sizing: I am 5'6", 120 lbs, purchased a small, and it fits perfectly

Love at First Wear

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: small

Intro: bought these to use for yoga and rock climbing

Pros: they are long (I'm 5'10, and many pants end up hitting at an odd length slightly above my ankle), very soft and comfortable, breath well, don't bunch uncomfortably

Cons: none so far. We will see how they do after a few more trips and washings.

Sizing: true to size. I am 5'10, 130 lbs, normally wear a small, and a small fit perfectly in these.
