Black Diamond built the Distance 15L around their SETT construction, using stitchless edge taping technology that improves shoulder strap comfort and durability without the bulk or pressure points of traditional stitched seams. Custom UHMWPE ripstop body fabric keeps the pack ultralight and resilient, while the custom-engineered diamond mesh sits next to skin on the harness with breathability that holds up through high-output efforts. Soft flask pockets on the front harness keep hydration within reach, Z-pole sleeves deploy on the go without stopping to dig through the pack, and dual piolet carry options handle the technical objectives that demand more than just poles.
