xc ski pant for the win
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I love these pants. as anyone knows who xc or skate skis, you get warm. so i prefer the thinner material. if its going to be especially cold, i will add a thin wool baselayer. if you get these too tight, then year you arent going to be able to move very well. but i dont think these were designed to be extra form fitting. i got mine in M, which are a little bulky in the waist and crotch area, but i feel like they are the better fit than a small would be. i want room for movement and also a little room for layers if need be, but they are in no way too large. they dont look or feel bulky. they breath well and are comfortable.

Great all-around pants for XC skiing
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I've been eyeing the Bjorn Dahlie winner pants for years and finally bought them! I took them XC skiing this weekend and they performed well in our spring-like temps. Kept me warm in the early morning, but with enough breathability to keep me cool as the sun came out and I started to sweat. I really like the grips along the inside of the waist and the bottom inside hem of the pant legs. The grips and the waist tie kept the pants in place with minimal tugging and adjusting during the day. I took several falls (including one nasty one). No tears and I stayed dry. I agree with the other reviewer that the pants could use a little more stretch around the crotch and knees, but I still had pretty good mobility despite this. I am 5'4" 110 lbs, usually a XS or S in most brands. European brands are usually S. I tried both the XS and S in these pants. Both fit, but I went with the XS for a slimmer fit like the model pics and because the length was a little more flattering for my shorter frame. These fit better than Odlo, which I tried at the same time. Oh and one other nit picky thing... I prefer the old Bjorn Dahlie logo and the older model of these pants, but these are still great and they look great. Happy with my purchase.

Too Flimsy
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I thought these pants would have some warmth to them. They're just thin material. Great looking but basically indoor or warm weather pants.
