Winner, winner.

While the hybrid design of the Bjorn Daehlie Women's Winner 2.0 Pant might lead you to believe that it was concocted by a mad scientist, it was actually designed for passionate cross country skiers and outdoor enthusiasts. The Winner 2.0 features microfiber front panels that are wind- and water-resistant, and the areas behind the knees are lined with mesh for premium moisture management and breathability.

Articulated knees provide unimpeded mobility, and the stretch panels at the back enhance your range of motion and comfort. A drawstring and elastic waistband provides a personalized fit, and the reflective elements assure added visibility in low-light scenarios. The 3/4-length zipper at the calf allows you to slip your boots on and off with ease, and the silicone band at the hem ensures that the pant stays secure as you tackle tough or mellow courses alike.

Perfect for Cross Country Skiing

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

This is my first winter cross country skiing, and I was on the hunt for some pants that would provide more wind/snow protection than warm leggings. These pants are perfect for XC skiing. They block the wind and are water resistant for snow, but still are very breathable. I am normally between a small and medium, and I went with a medium in these. While these are not form-fitting like leggings, they are still somewhat flattering (as flattering as these types of pants can be) yet allow me room to move without feeling restricted. I think the smalls would have been too small.
I also think these pants would be perfect for winter running when it is snowing. I haven't tried them out in those conditions yet though. Highly recommend!

Best Pants!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love these pants! They are the best x-country skiing pants I have, and I have a lot. They are breathable in the back and are super comfortable. I usually wear a lightweight baselayer underneath them, and the combo is perfect in most conditions and temperatures. I am anywhere between a M-XL in bottoms, and the L fits me well. The pants are a little bit big in the waist, but I usually use the draw-string to tie them tighter.

Love the pants

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: True to size

I gave these pants to my wife and this was her feedback: "I love the pants. They're very comfortable. I wore them skiing this past weekend in 20 degree weather... windy and no sun. I wore some leggings underneath and it was perfect. They kept me warm and dry. They are easy to move in and comfortable enough that I wore them all day... even after skiing.

Wearing these everywhere

I did not know how much I needed these until I replaced some tattered spandex with these soft-shell pants. They are more flattering than jeans, and more comfortable too. Wind resistant and stylish... take these onto the xc country track, or for a hike... or to go get coffee. They're built to flatter athletic women, and that's worth celebrating! I'm tall-ish, and they reach my ankle - perfect with my ski boots. The BF confirms, these are a WIN (and worth pulling out the camera for!).

How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Chest:
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Waist:
Bend to the side and measure around the place where your waist bends, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Hip:
Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of the hip.
Inseam:
Measure from the crotch to the floor with no shoes.
Sleeve Length:
Have someone measure from the center of the back neck down the arm, with arm slightly bent, to the wrist bone.
