    It's worth considering.

Big Agnes calls the Q-Core Deluxe Sleeping Pad the most comfortable air pad on the planet, and despite the hyperbole, a statement that grand is certainly worth considering. Primaloft Silver insulates this pad to help you stay warm in temperatures right below freezing, and the quilted top mimics mattresses to keep you comfy throughout the night. This Q-Core pad features an I-Beam construction that reduces weight in places that don't disrupt the pad's structural integrity. That means you get a stable platform and a lower weight.

    • An insulated sleeping pad ideal for shoulder season camping
    • I-Beam reduces weight and maintains structural integrity
    • Primaloft Silver insulation increases warmth in freezing temps
    • Anti-odor treatment reduces odor-causing bacteria
    • Quilted top gives a soft surface to sleep on

    Solids pad

Great. Not the lightest weight, but really good feel and nice and thick.

      Solid pad

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

As others have said, this pad compacts down well and makes for a great car camping pad or a backpacking pad. (though for minimalist backpackers, you may want to go with something smaller). I'm a side sleeper and get a great night's sleep on this bad boy. Used it in the late spring/early summer, so cannot attest to insulation in lower temps. But I would definitely use this pad again!

      Skinny guy side sleeping.

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Finally I found a pad that is compact, yet is constructed in a manner that allows me to comfortably sleep on my side. Only used it once so far, but I'll put it through the paces this season.

A goodnight sleep under the stars

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Compact, yet lightweight and 4 inches of pad. In my 40 plus years of backpacking this is the best pad I’ve ever had. My days of sleeping on the ground in just my sleep bag are long gone and I feel I spent more of my time between my orthopedic doctor and my physical therapist. They fix what I break, and I’ve never been easy on my body. As a retired Horticulturist, there isn’t a part of me that doesn’t hurt. I’ve had left foot, left knee, left shoulder surgery and have a unnatural curve in my spine to the left. Sleeping while backpacking has been an issue for me for many years. But finally I’m getting a goodnight sleep on my Big Agnes Q Core Deluxe Sleeping Pad, which means I can keep backpacking. I’m short so the 20x66 is prefect for my 5’2” frame. I could of gone with a liter pad by Big Agnes but willing to cut my pack weight down by giving up other stuff, because a goodnight sleep heals the body. If you’re body is as beat up as mine, this is the sleeping pad for you. So far no issues, no leaks, and looking forward to my next Rocky Mountain backpacking trip.

      Comfy & Compact

Compacts into a small bag but still blows up to be 4 inches wide. It keeps me very warm and is very comfy. It got a hole in it pretty quickly so I had to patch it. It does deflate still, especially in the cold. It makes camping and backpacking so much better!!
