Protect that noggin!

You’ve been protecting her head from sharp objects since she started toddling around, but now that she’s riding a bike, you can’t just dive over, hand outstretched, and catch her head before it hits the ground. Protect your little one’s future test scores with the Bern Nina Helmet –it’s tough, low-profile, and cute as can be, which’ll make her happy, and you relaxed. At least a little bit.

Great helmet

    Protects my daughter's head.

    Great!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This helmet is adorable. Super durable—very high quality. My 2 year old son’s head is very small so it’s a tad big right now but happy he’ll have years to grow with it.

    Ridiculously adorable

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Our 2 year old gets all the compliments in this helmet. She has a pea sized head and it's still a little large on her, but had a nice adjustable strap in the back.

Love This! SMALL Sizes for the LIttlest

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

So many choice out there...look no further. Great Toddler helmet, selection of designs is fun but even more, the fit and adjustability is great! Bought as a gift for one of my littlest family riders and had a tough time at first finding a helmet that was truly small enough for a little head. This is available in XS/S, among other sizes, and I was so happy to end the search. It worked, it's comfy, protective and she loves it!

    Niece loves it

In my 5-year old niece's words, "it is comfortable and I like the design on it!" (She has the purple jungle one) Apparently she loves it so much she wears it climbing trees.

    Awe! Cute and functional.

2 daughters in love with these helmets.

Bought 2 of these for my daughters and they love them. They are cute to them and comfy which means no complaining when they wear them. They seem to not fall to the back like the cheaper ones they have had before which I like as well.

    Stylish, Good Coverage

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

My daughter loves this helmet. It is nice to see a light, fashionable helmet that provides full coverage for young riders. The visor is a nice touch, tho, could affect the helmets positioning during an impact. One ding on this helmet is that the rear size adjustment is just fabric and velcro, and can fold under when the helmet is being installed. It should have been made of something that retains its shape and adjusts with a twist knob, I feel.

Not a feature in this helmet but they do make helmets with built-in, hard, external shell visors. I'm against that because I believe that type of visor could act as a lever during an impact that dislocates the helmet into an unfavorable position. Helmets outta be rounded and snag/lever free.

    Bern Nina

The Bern Nina is a standout helmet, the Zip Mold, Sink Fit Feature and Polycarbonate Shell make for a great fit and super safe helmet. As a Coach of young shredders the Bern Nino is my go to helmet when a parent asks me what the best helmet is and another great feature of the Bern Nino is that it can be used for Biking, Skiing and Skating
