My daughter loves these boots. This is our second pair, they seem to have a better grip than ugg boots and the zipper makes it very easy for her to get them on and off herself - no tugging. Warm and great for cold days and can even handle a little wet if you spray them with water proofing.

Good Cold Dry Toddler Boots

So far the Bearpaw Emma Zipper Boot has been pretty solid for my little girl. The outer material is durable enough for normal wear and the wool inner lining definitely doesn't irritate as she has some of the more sensitive skin out there. The bottom grip is really good though I have to mention that the give between the upper and how it attaches to the sole is a little too much.
The sizing is about right to maybe slightly big as my little one has longer feet and was able to fit in them early. Only other thing that gives me pause is that I wouldn't wear these in super wet weather, only slightly wet or really cold snow would be best.

Size up!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small

I've been searching for a new pair of boots for my 2 1/2 year old. I just ordered a pair of Ugg shoes in size 8 and had to return them because they were too big. I tried these boots in a 7 but they were too small. I would definitely recommend sizing up. She hasn't used them much, but they are cute and seem warm.
