Basin and Range Tech Tip Fleece Glove
Basin and RangeTech Tip Fleece Glove

An absolute necessity on chilly mountain trails.

The Crest Trail above Park City, Utah offers 360-degree views of the Wasatch range and is nothing short of photogenic when the fall light combines with the changing leaves. But fall colors bring cold temps, so you'd better bring along a pair of Basin and Range Tech Tip Fleece Gloves if you want to enjoy your run along the Park City ridge line. Their Windstopper fleece fabric insulates against the cold and prevents any cold drafts from creeping through. And when you need to snap a few pictures of the pristine mountain views, the touchscreen compatible fingertips let you get the shot, without having to expose your hands to the cold.

  • Lightweight gloves for hiking, trail running, and spring skiing

Perfect Fleece Glove

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

For the price you can't go wrong with these gloves. They are super warm, very soft, durable and comfortable with a nice fit.

Great Glove

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Thick, warm, comfortable and true to size on fit. Not bummed about my investment at all.

Great Gift

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I have given these gloves as gifts a few times and they have always been a hit. They fit well and the quality is good. Simple and functional, hard to beat.

Fits great and keeps my hands warm

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These gloves work for me when I am getting my truck ready in the morning. They keep my hands warm and fit true to size. They don't grip very well so I would advise not using them for manual labor.

Perfect

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Got these for a friend -- they run big. He's a huge dude (6'8") and got these in a large. They fit him perfectly. But that's a big guy, so be aware that these for sure run about a size up!

Solid all around glove

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I wear these biking , hiking, and walking the dog when the mercury drops and they have performed perfectly.

great casual glove

Not for performance, but great for cold nights out on the town with the wife, they pair well with a nice long wool parka.

    Too big, not very warm

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I originally purchased Medium size and they were huge. I exchanged for Small and they were still way too big. They would fall off if I just stood with my hands at my side. I would say I have average size hands, these gloves are big and bulky. I also live in Wisconsin where the temperature dips in the negatives frequently. These did not keep my hands warm on a 25 degree day when I tested them. I would suggest something different.

    Good casual glove

Size runs a bit large, but it is plenty comfy and flexible.

      Works Fine

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I gave these gloves as a gift to my mom, who was looking for a glove that would work for walking the dog early in the morning. She is happy with them, particularly since she can still use her phone.

      Good Everyday Glove

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought these glove looking for something that would keep my hands warm while outside in the winter. These gloves are perfect, they're not too bulky but provide coverage from the wind and cold mornings in Utah. These gloves have a great range of motion as well, which is sometimes hard to find in gloves. One important thing to note about these gloves is they do run large. Usually i am a L in snowboarding gloves but I bought a size S and they fit well. I would recommend these gloves for someone looking for a liner glove, winter working glove, or even for light hiking in the later months of the year.

Reviews are right, these really are big

      • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I have pretty average sized hands, so I didn't think that the comments about these running large would apply to me... But take note, these really do run big! (I got size small and I'm pretty sure the XS would have been too big as well)

Amazed at features performance for $

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: Large

Was very impressed by the ability of these gloves to keep out wind and a surprising amount of moisture. Used them for cold weather running and skiing. Worked out fantastic for both.
Very comfortable, but slightly tighter than would be normal for a large glove for me, but wouldn't be enough to go to an XL.

      Fits like a glove

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size

Nice fit and very soft and warm!

      My Mom Loved Them

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought these as a Christmas gift and am very happy with the purchase. They're lightweight and soft, perfect as an everyday glove for driving, bringing in the groceries, or walking the dog.

      Comfy but run large

      • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
      • Fit: Runs large
      • Size Bought: small

These were very warm gloves and I would have been happy to keep them if they had fit. With The North Face gloves I am on the border of a Small and Medium, so I ordered these in a small. They had a lot of extra room and would not stay on my hands easily. They seem to be high quality and if they fit you, they would be a great addition to your fall/winter gear.

      Inflexible

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size

Bought these gloves to wear around town and for driving. Sadly they haven't really worked out. The tips don't work for my phone. The fingers are also very stiff so they only bend on established creases, which feel awkward.

Great glove but runs way big

I ordered a small in ladies. They are more like a large.

        Warm & washable

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
        • Fit: True to size

I'm a farmer so try to keep my farm clothes and adventure clothes separate. I don't want to use my expensive gloves while doing chores or driving to the bank. Because I get pretty dirty regularly, I wanted something warm and washable for everyday use. These are perfect and the price is right!

Good glove - not what I needed

        • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
        • Fit: Runs large
        • Size Bought: M

I returned these before putting them to the test. Had I read over the other reviews a bit more first, I might have prevented this. I was looking for a thin glove to double as a liner glove for extra cold days, but the windstopper fleece was a bit more rigid than I had realized for my purposes.
I also sized up, getting the medium, which especially did not fit my purposes.
Good durable material and a good look. The handwarmer component makes a great addition!
