We dreamed up the Stripe Cotton Shirt to soften the edge of our denim cutoffs and canvas workwear trousers, bringing our wardrobe that perfect balance of tough and sweet. The airy cotton build lets our skin breathe in the summer heat, while the fluttered sleeves play in the passing breeze. We keep the neckline button fastened throughout our workday, then let it and our top knot loose when it's time for happy hour wandering.

Nice Shirt
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Nice shirt, good quality. True to size and color was a match for me. Armpit area is cut a little deep but nothing major. Fits as expected. I wish it was an inch or two longer but otherwise cute shirt for casual Fridays!

Good Quality, Color Different
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
My hobby is sewing and pattern drafting, so please forgive the jargon. The construction was pretty good. Seams around the neck were fully enclosed. Most of the other seams were overcast but were neat and tidy. The exposed seams along the neck and sleeve edges were overcast with the tension a bit higher, giving a cool spiked effect. The fabric had a bit of a sheer weave, but the print was busy enough that I would wear a nude bra no problem. Honestly, I think this is a plus because this keeps the garment quite breathable. Also, it is 100% cotton, which is entirely appropriate for this garment. I'm not the biggest fan of the oversized trend and this is a bit out of my comfort zone. The shoulders and neckline are in the right place, so the drafting of this pattern seams fine. I just personally like the bottom of my armscye to be higher. If you dig the oversized trend, you'll love this. My problem is with the color. In the photo, the garment looks over-all fairly neutral to cool-toned. It is not. It has a yellow undertone. The 'taupe' stripe is really a yellow-based browny color. I'm quite cool toned and fair, so this doesn't suit me or my closet. I think the photography pulled cool-toned because I had the same issue with the sweatervest. So my major critiques are for better color matching with photos and perhaps some more colors with cooler undertones. Overall, the top was cute and well made, but the color is much warmer than you would think.
