We built the Waas ALLIED Down Hooded Jacket to be the layer we trust when temperatures drop and movement matters. Backcountry designed this puffy to disappear under a shell while delivering impressive warmth, making it ideal for resort laps, summit pushes, and cold starts that warm up fast. It’s lightweight, streamlined, and always ready to deploy when the chill sets in.

The warmth comes from lofty 800-fill ALLIED down that traps heat efficiently without weighing us down. Recycled ripstop fabrics balance durability with a soft, packable feel, while elastic-bound cuffs, an adjustable hood, and a cinchable hem help seal out biting wind. Raglan sleeves allow unrestricted movement, and when we heat up, the jacket stuffs neatly into its own pocket—ready to stash until the next cold moment.
