Why We Like The Backcountry Stansbury ALLIED Down Tight

The Backcountry Stansbury ALLIED Down Tight takes insulated bottoms to a new level—a chic level. This toasty style is made for the streets, with a slim silhouette that's as flattering as it is warm and doesn't sacrifice comfort. Our triangular baffles keep the responsibly sourced ALLIED down secure inside the recycled polyester shell, and PFC-free DWR treatment offers low-impact protection, keeping snowfall and droplets away.

Would buy again

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Warm (but not too warm), fleece-lined, and very comfortable. Great length, deep functional pockets. I wear them around the house after recovery from a cold run, or out on cold walks with the dogs. Haven't worn them yet for what I truly bought them for: extremely cold (10F deg or less) running, but they stay put on my waist and the range of movement is easy, so I anticipate they'll be perfect for that too.
