So comfortable and rugged!

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought these pants in black because I photograph elopements in nature and I wanted a pant that can hold up to all the hiking and climbing I do in nature, while looking professional. They have done that and more! They look great and feel so comfortable.

So good!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I got them in black and I wear these pants ALL the time! The only pants I can wear backpacking and in the office. One of my best decisions!

A Pant that actually stays up

I hike the Half Dome in these pants and wouldn't have wanted it any other way. They stayed on around my waist, were comfortable, and actually fit my larger thighs. The pants had a good amount of movement. They were breathable and dried quickly when wet.

Great multi-purpose pants, great price!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

These handy, attractive, pants are great-fitting and I liked them enough to buy 3 pairs. Fabric is smooth, fairly stretchy, breathable, and light but not flimsy. I needed them to stand up to outdoorsy lifestyle and dog training activities but still look fine running errands in town. They're almost perfect. Add top stitching to front pockets to maintain a tailored look and a crotch gusset for extra mobility and they'd be perfect...But that would put them beyond their current great price. Perfect length for 5'5"

My favorite pants

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These pants are a little loose, but I love the ability to wear compression tights beneath them and not feel overly constricted. They breathe well and feel very light. They aren't as heavy-duty my other ripstop pants, so I'm not sure how much twig snagging and butt sliding in the Adirondacks they will tolerate compared to the pants I'm used to - but I'm willing to find out. If these last, I'll order more. I'm 135 pounds, 5'5", and I ordered a size 4. A size 2 may have been okay, but I'll stay with 4 for the layering and comfort.

Lightweight & comfortable

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Wasatch ripstop pants in size 12. I am 5'8", 150 pounds. Pants a bit baggy but comfortable & lightweight for hot weather. The 29.5 inseam is just barely long enough for me; wish this came in longer inseam sizes. Comfortable waistband, and the belt loops are wide enough to fit an actual belt! Larger pockets would be nice; the thigh pocket is disappointingly small.

LOVE!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I got the Elm Green in a 12 and they fit so well. The waist band is super soft and high rise. The pockets are deep. The bottoms have a scrunch so you can cinch them in, otherwise they're kind of a straight leg. I've worn them many times already and will be getting another color.

Disappointing

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I find that backcountry women’s pants have zero pocket depth, can’t fit even a phone. The waist is always so tight even going up multiple sizes, which doesn’t track with other pants I own. And they feel kinda cheap. Just not worth it, and I’ll have to stick with other brands.

These pants ARE IT.

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I'm a tall woman (6'2) and LITERALLY ordered 30 pairs of ripstop (or other techy material) pants to try to hike in this past summer and they were all AWFUL - legs way too short, tiny waists, not enough rise, or weird SUPER TIGHT knees ( I'm looking at you, Solomon). These are roomy but not baggy, stretchy but not flimsy, and kept me cool all summer AND warm, even now as I hike in the winter. (With layering, of course). They dry in seconds, they keep their form, they have pockets and cinchers at the ankle, and even for my tall self, the length is ok (hello, ankle cleavage). I even got compliments on the trail once! The clay color is the JAM, but the other two? EW. Backcountry, can we get this exact pant in Navy, Black, Red, Mustard, Forest Green- or more trendy colors? The green and beige are blaaaaaand, and this is SUCH a good pant. FRESH COLORS PLEASE!
