Why We Built The Pecos Water Short

We love to get out in the water to beat the summer heat, and the Pecos Water Shorts are perfect for anything from whitewater kayaking to casting for trout. We designed these shorts with four-way stretch construction to enhance mobility as we paddle our way through river currents or wade through waist-high slot canyons.

  • Quick-drying water shorts suitable for boating, fishing, and hiking
  • Drawcord-adjustable waist ensures a perfect, sleek fit
  • Active fit runs a little small, so consider sizing up
  • DWR-coated outer repels water for lightning-fast dry times
  • Zippered security pocket to secure your essentials while on the move
  • Full crotch gusset offers comfort and enhanced mobility

Weird fit

  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: L

If you’ve got curves, may not be the shorts for you. I ordered by my hip size and the waist was enormous, fit perfectly at the hips and small towards the legs.

If you’re more of a straight build, may work well. Great material and very light feeling.

These fit well, and look great in black. But the logo is too much. I want tech clothes so I can jump in the kayak but I want them to be flexible and stylish enough to wear to my pre hike brunch. They would be pretty perfect except for the logo. I live in a city and bike a ton so I don't not appreciate the reflective tush goat, but 99% of the time I don't want that lewk.

How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Chest:
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Sleeve:
Have someone measure from the center of the back neck down the arm, with arm slightly bent, to the wrist bone.
Waist:
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Inseam:
Measure from the crotch to the floor with no shoes.
Hip:
Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.
