BC cargo pant
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
My wife loves these pants. Working from home - check. Moderate exercise - check. Hanging out at the coffee shop - check. At the fire pit in cooler weather - check. If they had a flannel lined version, she would probably be set for all seasons.

Love these pants

These pants are SO comfy, looser than leggings but still fitted enough to not be baggy. The material is soft and stretchy. The pockets are fantastic - my phone can fit, which is great but not super impressive for athletic pants, BUT my entire wallet (maybe 8 inches long, a few inches wide) can fit. The cuff is great to keep out the mud and dirt. I've worn them a few hikes, and just around the house. The material is pretty thin, so definitely not for cold weather. Tonight I paired them with my wool base layer for a nightime, low in the mid-30s hike and was more than fine.

Love this

For the past year and a half, I've been working remotely and hopefully forever - and will be ditching my work clothes... these are very comfortable, light weight and fit great. I would maybe try the XS but i think the small are not restrictive at all.

waist is just not comfortable
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
the material for the pants are awesome, lightweight, and quick dry, and the pockets on the sides are wonderful, but the waist is just too tight, the XS fit great everywhere but the waist, Backcountry please make these with "leggings" waist.

My new favorite!

I?m fairly active, 5?1?, 150lbs, and 57. Among other things, love to hike, kayak, and play hockey. I bought a medium, which fits me comfortably. Am losing weight and like the tie at the waist, which I?m certain will allow these pants to continue to fit well. My area is experiencing a heat wave, so I put these on instead of shorts as a test. The material is so light! I had to go to my office to do research for an important document, so I put these on before leaving. That research turned into an all-nighter. I had enough time in the morning to go home, brush my teeth, and change my top, then headed back to work. At the end of the day, I went home and crashed?still wearing my clothes. Awoke the next morning and when I passed the mirror, my pants looked like I had just pulled them out of the closet. I am short, so there?s a little bit of ?hang-over? at my ankles. I think it would perfectly hang just at my ankle if I were 5?3?, but the gathers at the ankles are not tight, so I think it would still be a comfortable fit and nice look for someone 5?6? or 5?7?. The waistband is probably the best I?ve ever worn. Although I have weight to lose?and most of it that area?the waistband has not rolled. Impressive! I have two pairs now and only wish the olive color would restock in my size.

These pants are very comfortable! They are also soft and breathable too. I bought them for hiking and working around the house. They work nice to play golf in also!

I have had these for a couple of months now and I find myself reaching for these pants way more than I thought I would be. They are so comfortable, have quite a bit of stretch to them, and feel extremely lightweight when wearing they are on. Granted I have not climbed in them like previous reviews, I find these to be easy to wear around town, on a plane, or just playin outside. Personally, they seem true to size and the adjustable waistband is handy. It has been hard not to wear these every day.

Comfortable but not durable at all!

I bought these to climb in. I've climbed in the original on the go pants and they have held up to it so I figured I would try these out as well. The material is nice and soft and thin -- would be great to hike in or hang out in and fits true to size on me. 2 issues: 1) these are too short if you are over 5'7" and there are no long sizes offered and, more importantly for me 2) they frayed at the knees after one climbing session and were completely ruined! Bottom line: if they don't hold up to being active in, then they are not worth the money being charged.

Definitely and Upgrade from 1.0

I have had and loved my On the Go 1.0 pants for years now. They have survived MANY hikes and climbing gym sessions before getting a hole. The cut in the crotch was always a little weird so I am SO excited that they have fixed that with these. They also got rid of the pinstripe down the outside seam and it looks like they fixed the elastic at the bottom. Overall these are definitely an improvement and are much more flattering. I figured the cargo and the 2.0 would be the same other that the pockets but that is not the case, the 2.0s don't fit me quite as well and are a little baggier throughout. Compared to the 1.0 On the Go pant: The waist is about the same, I would order your same size. These have a slightly higher rise, 8.5" vs 9.0". The inseam is 28" while my 1.0 XS shorts are 28.5"

Love them but sizing isnt very accurate

I ordered two pairs in different colors in size XS. my waist is about 23?/24? they?re very loose around the legs and the waist requires me to still have to use the drawstring to tighten down. I was hoping I wouldn?t have to do that. I?d say the XS fit like a Small. Overall I love the color, the material, the pockets, and that they?re lightweight.
