Hey Julian! We are not continuing this style in the same fabric but you would like Item #BCC00BH - copy and paste that in the search bar!

Great Crew Hoodie

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: L

Got this for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it. It's a bit nicer than your standard crew sweatshirt which makes it great to wear around town or to the office. The material is incredibly comfortable (soft and stretchy) and fits great.

Great Gift

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Very soft material with plenty of stretch! Made for a great christmas gift. Fit seems such that if you're between sizes, you'd want the larger of the two.

Bought as a gift

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought this as a gift for my Dad and Brother, they said it fits great and they love wearing it out and about. They love the materials!

Saturday staple

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

I have really enjoyed this sweatshirt, it is comfortable, looks nicer than my college sweatshirt, and it keeps me a comfortable temperature. I was commenting to my wife that I would like this piece in several colors and my fall wardrobe would be set.

The Fit

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

Noticing comments about the fit, so I thought I'd share my experience. I'm 5'10, 155 lbs, and pretty active and wear a Medium in just about everything. It fits me nicely, but I wouldn't say it's form-fitting or shaped. It's a pretty generic straight cut that goes about the length that a hoody would.

Nice basic layer

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

It won't overwhelm you- but it is a good looking sweater.
Wears nicely as a stand alone sweater but it is bulky enough to have a shirt on underneath it.
I like it.

Not for muscular guys

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Size Bought: L & XL

This is a really nice looking and well-made piece, but it was a really bad fit for me. I'm 6'4 230 and I've got an athletic build; the XL fit my shoulders and chest nicely, but was far too boxy in the waist, and the large was also a decent fit up top, but the width of my back caused the sweatshirt to stretch in such a way that it crept up in the back awkwardly above my waist. For a slender guy this is an awesome piece, and I'm not knocking it besides as a caveat for other bigger dudes . It's super steezy and the quality seems great, just make sure you try it on if you have an athletic or bulky build.

5 Stars

  • Size Bought: Medium

This sweater lays nice on my body and feels good. True to size. I went with a medium, which is what I normally wear in shirts. Great buy for the price.

Sleek and Warm

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

I've had this in my possession for a while now, and it has become my go to fleece for any number of scenarios. It has a nice fit to it, with a little bit extra length in the torso.

Sleek and Warm

My husband is a big fan

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Extra Large

This pullover is an awesome piece for colter temps. It has a grid fleece lining on the inside that is extremely warm and cozy. There are also gussets in the arm pits so you won't get too hot.

Strange Fit

  • Size Bought: Large

Fit in shoulders uncomfortably tight. Would have liked if it fit.

Somewhere between sweater and housedress

Very odd, shapeless fit. Too long in torso and tight in forearms. Had to return which was completely annoying since Backcountry does not easily issue printable return labels, QR codes for printable labels at UPS store. Operational process of returns would prevent future purchases.

Hey Timothy, I'm sorry to hear the fit was so off for you. It's a slim fit style so it runs longer and a bit slimmer than brands like Patagonia and the North Face. I saw on the order you also got some smalls in Patagonia and perhaps a small would be a trimmer fit for you and not feel so shapeless. I'm incredibly sorry about your experience with the return process. We don't send out return labels and order receipts with our orders to save waste in the shipping process. I sent an email to your inbox with more instructions about the online process and please reach out to me directly if you have any difficulties in the future.

I returned many items to backcountry and it has always been easy. You can print out a return label somewhere within your order page. Yea it costs you a little bit to return stuff, but the selection is amazing and worth it.

    Stylish sweatshirt

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

Bought this for my boyfriend: he liked the sweatshirt feel and super soft material, and I like that it's more dressed-up than a standard sweatshirt. It could be used as outdoor apparel or out to dinner.

Don't want to take it off

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

I got the Backcountry Grid Fleece Crewneck 4 days ago and have managed to wear it at some point every day so far. I really like the trim (but not slim) fit and the quality fabrics - since it's made out of grid fleece, I have a fleeing that I may even end up wearing this as a mid-layer skiing next year. In the last 4 days, I've worn it to work, a barbecue, the grocery store, and doing chores around the house. Pretty psyched on this purchase! Size Large fits me well, I'm 6'2" 185lbs.

    The All-In-One for travel

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

Absolutely love this fleece from Backcountry and am so impressed by its stylish, yet purposefully technical design. When traveling light this is the one long sleeve layer I bring with me. For example, the last trip I was on I had minimal room for due to bringing every-day clothes along with jamming my running shoes and swim gear in the same carry-on bag. I brought this fleece along, pulled out on the plane (with the insanely cold A/C being blasted) to keep me comfortable. Once arriving I had to fit in a quick run in chilly temperatures and decided to just throw this on over a tech-tee and it couldn't have worked better; Warm, yet breathable.

The simple, yet technical design is what makes this so versatile. The grid fleece allows the warm/breathable traits, the thicker wrist/torso material allows the fleece to lay super nicely and offer a stylish look (could probably get away with at the office) and then the subtle details such tiny as the armpit holes to allow venting all the way to the high quality of the tag/labeling. While the tag/labeling doesn't seem like much of an issue, when you end up wearing it to the office and take it off and throw if over your chair, you know you aren't going to get any odd looks the way you would if it were an old sweatshirt.

Overall just really impressed with the versatility, style and attention to detail that is woven into this new favorite. Honestly, I will probably order another one in the grey color.

    The Best Fleece I've Tried

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

First off, thank you Backcountry for making my new favorite fleece. This piece has been my go to every time I've gone out. Whether its camping, hiking, or even grabbing coffee with a friend. It is super lightweight, yet keeps you at the perfect temperature. Fit's perfectly under my down jacket too. Will definitely be looking into more of the Backcountry gear!

    Front country comfort and style

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

This is my first piece of front country clothing from Backcountry and I couldn't be more stoked. The combination of performance and classic style really puts this piece over the top for me. Wearing this around town on overcast mornings or catching sunset on the beach I stay warm but feel like I'm ready for anything. Whether it be an outdoor excursion or heading to the bar for a drink. Thanks to the grid lining I feel comfortable and look good. If it gets a little warm I roll up the sleeves. This shirt is the perfect in between, when it is too warm for a puffy coat and a little too brisk for just a t-shirt and my girlfriend loves that I no longer wear hoodies to social outings.
