Powder days usually include massive amounts of fair-weather skiers clogging up lift lines and tracking out your favorite lines, but none of them are willing to bootpack past the chairlifts in search of heavenly stashes; lucky for you, Atomic's Waymaker 110 Ski Boot excels from bootpacking big mountains to freeriding the resort's goodness. With a 110 flex index, the Waymaker supplies a stiff, reliable flex while its 101mm last offers a comfortable, all-day fit.
Since the best lines of the upper mountain often require a bootpack (and your safety gear), the Waymaker 110 includes a ski/walk mode. Simply lift the lever located on the back of the boot to allow for 35-degrees of cuff rotation (it also makes it easier to take the boot off). Three aluminum buckles secure your feet so you can experience the best control and response possible.
This all-mountain slayer also comes with a Multi-Norm Chassis and DIN grip pads that help ensure solid traction on rock, icy terrain, and snowy walkways. The standard DIN grip pads can be replaced with touring grip pads (sold separately) to allow the Waymaker 110 to be used with all binding systems so you can head out to play in the backcountry. The liner uses 3M Thinsulate Platinum insulation to keep your feet responsive even on super-cold midwinter days.
