Get off the beaten path.
When you have to hike in to even get to the mountain you want to climb, the Asolo Men's Jumla GV Hiking Boot is going to help you get there. Asolo designed this mid-height boot to be perfect for approach routes and via ferrata, also making it an ideal choice for mountain guides and rescue teams around the world, and also an excellent, versatile shoe for day hikes, multi-day backpacking trips, and steep approaches on variable terrain. The Gore-Tex lining makes sure your feet stay dry when storms roll in.
The Jumla GV features a Vibram friction outsole to provide you with outstanding grip on wet, loose, or rugged terrain while a microporous midsole and polyurethane anti-shock insert offer stable, cushioned comfort. These are the best! They're sturdy, comfortable, sharp and stylish. I've only had these in the Colorado mountains twice so far but they are so much more comfortable than my new Salomon's I returned the Salomon 's. Purchased 1/2 size larger and they fit is near perfect.
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
Lightweight, customizable fit thanks to lace to toe design. Usual asolo tough as nails durability. Worked for several hours in a downpour in them, I was soaked but my feet were dry. Good traction on the trail.
lugs on the sole are not as deep as some other boots, so if you spend a lot time in the mud this may not be for you. Perfect for light and fast backpacking, scrambling over rocks
