Fusion sole food.

While its name might allude to some sort of fruity fusion drink or noodle dish, the Asics Women's fuzeX Running Shoe is in fact a different kind of fusion food—the soul, err, sole kind. Built to provide day-long comfort and support, the fuzeX is new to the Asics lineup and is fashioned with the innovative fuzeGEL midsole that maintains a sense of adaptable comfort with its rearfoot shock absorption and enhanced forefoot bounce back. The seamless upper ensures a sock-like fit and ample breathablity throughout your run while the ComforDry sockliner and lasting board encourages a cooler and more dry climate for your foot. And, not to mention, the AHAR rubber is strategically placed in areas of high wear-and-tear and ultimately assures the longevity of your shoe.

Solid Asics Shoe

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Picked these up as a Mother's Day gift. My mom really likes Asics and has so far really liked these shoes. She uses them to exercise in and says they are very comfortable just like her other Asics and do a good job of supporting her feet. She wears them a few times a week to exercise in and has not had any problems or issues. If Asics are shoes that work for you, then these should be a great buy.

fits weird

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I've had a lot of asics and these aren't my favorite. I'll keep them for gym classes, but probably won't take my long run on them. The laces cut off my circulation in the wrong place for some reason. Perhaps other feel will work better. Not great for mine.
