carbon fiber
Recommended Use:

Arundel Sideloader bottle cages were designed specifically to address bottle access issues for folks that ride small or compact geometry frames. Rather than forcing you to pull (or attempt to pull) your bottle fully upward, its minimalist profile allows you to pull the bottle up just a bit, then to move it outward to prevent the top of the bottle from smacking the bottom of the top tube. The only problem with the Sideloader is that it's designed for bottles to be pulled in one direction. That's why they soon made the OtherSideloader so that, if you prefer to reach for your bottle with one particular hand, you can have easy and natural access for both bottles from the same side of the bike.

All you need is a pair -- one of each. That's exactly why we've created this Arundel Sideloader/OtherSideloader Carbon Fiber Bottle Cage Combo. One of each will give you the option to have both accessed from the right side of your bike or from the left. Our combo will include one of each in three different color options -- Oil Slick, Red, or Silver.

Great for road or mountain

    Great for road or mountain

    So far, so good.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These cages work well for the low clearance on my Look 695. It is easy to get the bottles in and out. They also look quite nice with no problems holding the bottles in place.

    Bottles pop out

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These look great and perform well until you hit a pot hole or ride on gravel/dirt. I had a bottle pop out on me in the street, good thing it didn't happen in a group ride pace line. I returned these and got the Arundel Mandibles, much better.

    Great cage

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Like most of us, I have a small quiver of bikes and as such, had a wide assortment of bottle cages - whatever was available and inexpensive at the time of the build up. Not sure why it never occurred to me, but "you get what you pay for" also applies to bottle cages. After having these on one of my bikes for a year, I have gradually replaced all of my cages with the side loader/other side loader combo. I ride a smallish frame and these allow easy access to the bottle even on the mtn bike where there is little room. Overall, a great product and well designed with improved ease of access and better water bottle retention.

    Best for tight places

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Arundel is the best cage around and I think everyone knows that. I've been skeptical of sideloaders for many years but this past season it was impossible to use a regular cage. I went with this cage and it worked great. Be sure to really think about which hand you use to drink though. I ended up getting a right hand loader and the left hand may have worked out better. Also, keep in mind the location of the shock adjustment lever (ie CTD), I would frequently hit the lever and kick the shock out of climb mode.
