During high output ventures, the midlayer is without a doubt, the most important, yet undefined aspect to an effective layering system. This lack of definition lies in the fact that a good midlayer can be anything from several baselayers worn at once to one solid sweatshirt. The Armada Retreat Midlayer Hoodie gets the job done while also working as a stylish outer layer when the cold retreats.

  • A warm midlayer hoodie that transitions well to daily life
  • Asymmetrical collar zip adds style and functionality to a classic silhouette
  • Zip-open front pocket makes storage easy

Soft, Functional, My New Go To

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

I am in love with this hoodie already! It's extremely soft on the inside and out. The Kangaroo zippered pouch is so functional, I'm now not worried that I will loose something out of my pocket. The jacket is thinner than I expected, however it still gives all the warmth I expected it to. Great piece for layering under the Snowboard jacket.

BEST HOODIE EVER

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: small

Absolutely in love with this hoodie. The face fabric is like butter with a really nice of fleece on the inside. I love all the additional details such as the zippered kangaroo pouch and neck zip. The small fits perfect with enough length the in arms and body for extra layers on really cold days. The length is perfect as well hitting just below hips.

How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Waist:
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose. In most pants, waist size doesn’t correspond to any measurement of your actual waist, or where you wear your pants. Waist sizes on pants still generally coordinate with where people wore their pants back in the day, and that’s just below your belly button. Today, pants are generally worn on the high-hip, the widest area of the seat, where your femur ends. All this said, the difference between where you likely wear your pants and your listed pant size usually isn’t more than an inch and a half. So if your high-hip measures 34, you’re in the neighborhood of a 33 size pant.
Chest:
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest. The tape measure should be snug, not loose enough to slide off but not so tight that it jams up your breathing. Lower your arms, take a breath and see what the tape tells you.
Inseam:
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
Sleeve:
Measure from the middle of your neck to your wrist bone. Use one hand to line up the tape end with the bone sticking out on the back end of your neck and let the tape drop over your shoulder and down your arm so you can see where the wrist lays.
