Bryan Iguchi famously left park riding behind in the '90s to hone his big mountain skills in the towering Tetons of Wyoming, and his signature Arbor Bryan Iguchi Pro Rocker Snowboard is a reflection of that transformation. It excels at taking a freestyle approach to the biggest and baddest lines you can find, but unlike traditional powder boards with huge set-backs, the Iguchi Pro rocks a centered stance that's perfectly balanced for hucking cliffs, skipping across pillows, and stomping switch.
This version of the Iguchi Pro features System Rocker for a surfier, floatier feel in the deep stuff. This profile is based on a parabolic rocker, meaning the upturned curve is most pronounced in the center, becoming more mellow as you work toward the tip and tail, so you get enhanced float while maintaining incredible stability and control. And when snow conditions are less optimal, Grip Tech ensures you have the edge hold needed to carve your way around the mountain.
The Double Barrel core features an ultralight, strong, and snappy combo of poplar and bamboo. Wood is also featured in the Power Ply topsheet. Inlaid ash gives the board better energy return, and it's actually sustainable unlike the toxic plastics found in the topsheets of most snowboards. A triax-over-biax glass layup gives the Iguchi Pro a versatile feel that's responsive enough to handle jumps and steeps, yet still flexible for butters and surfy pow turns. A durable sintered base rounds things out to keep you cruising across flats and cat tracks so you don't have to unstrap to reach your favorite hidden spot.
