AlpineAire Strawberry Granola with Milk
AlpineAireStrawberry Granola with Milk

It's up to you.

You could spend your morning searching for wild strawberries, making granola from tree bark, and trying to harvest marmot milk, or you could just add some boiling water to the Alpine Aire Strawberry Granola with Milk.

  • Add boiling water
  • Stir

If you prepare it with the boiling water does it come out soft like oatmeal or still crunchy like a granola?

Would highly recommend this breakfast

This is a great start to any day out in the wilderness. Just add a little bit of cold water and stir. I would eat one of these in the morning and it would give me enough energy to make it through to lunch. Tastes great and has a good amount of calories. I also have tried the Blueberry one. Same story there. Feel free to hit me up with any backpacking suggestions, gear or food!

    Tasty and convenient

    Tasty and packed a punch!

I found the granola with milk meals to be the perfect solution for breakfast while on the trail. The thought of eating an egg based dehydrated meal sounds pretty gross and I was happy with the decision to go with the granola based breakfast meals.

    Good stuff

Easy, tasty breakfast with a good amount of protein/calories to start a day of activities out in the wild.

This was awesome. May be too sweet for some. Consistency set well, flavor was on point. Will purchase again.

I wanted to try this because the Mountain House granola with blueberries is one of my favorite parts of going camping these days.

This was also very tasty! My only complaint with both is that they have quite a bit of sugar in them. other than that this is a great way to start your mornings in the woods.

Premium chow!!!! So freeze dried food for the most part sucks right, but ya gotta make some sacrifices to get deep in the backcountry without packing a hundred pounds with you. So come breakfast time you've probably got some low expectations for the morning's culinary catastrophe. WELL! this aint' no runny egg and bastardized bacon mashup. This stuff actually tastes good. I would eat it for breakfast at home its that good. Its great cold, just add water and shake it up for a min and then let it set for a few and you're good to go. Its also great hot and will perk you right up on those cold mornings. Gives plenty of energy without sitting heavy and it doesn't trash your tummy either. Good stuff.
