    It's up to you.

You could spend your morning searching for wild strawberries, making granola from tree bark, and trying to harvest marmot milk, or you could just add some boiling water to the Alpine Aire Strawberry Granola with Milk.

    • Add boiling water
    • Stir
    • Let sit for 5 minutes

    great!

delicious, a ton of calories, and no stove needed!? Just toss in some water, and you have a bowl of crunchy cereal.

      Easy Breakfast

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Usually I just make an oatmeal packet in the mornings but this was so much better! More calories and less sugar for your adventure. I ate the whole packet because I was so hungry, but you can definitely share with a friend.

      Break-Fast

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

      I love this meal

      Great

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Not usually the biggest fan of granola, but this stuff tastes pretty good and is super simple to make. If you're into this stuff grab a few!!

      Simple

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

tasty, easy, and gives you the nutrition you need to keep going. In terms of dehydrated meals, this stuff makes the most sense in terms of overall quality and taste. Granola, great when dehydrated. Strawberries, also good. The milk, meh, could take it or leave it. 9/10.

      Would highly recommend this breakfast

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is a great start to any day out in the wilderness. Just add a little bit of cold water and stir. I would eat one of these in the morning and it would give me enough energy to make it through to lunch. Tastes great and has a good amount of calories. I also have tried the Blueberry one. Same story there. Feel free to hit me up with any backpacking suggestions, gear or food!

      Yum

        Tasty and convenient

        Tasty and packed a punch!

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I can eat a little bit more than normal and this 2 serving pouch totally filled me up for breakfast and kept me going till lunch. Really yummy and a good amount of calories.

        tasty.

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

good backpacking food served warm or cold!

        easy on the tummy

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I found the granola with milk meals to be the perfect solution for breakfast while on the trail. The thought of eating an egg based dehydrated meal sounds pretty gross and I was happy with the decision to go with the granola based breakfast meals.

        Good stuff

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Easy, tasty breakfast with a good amount of protein/calories to start a day of activities out in the wild.

        Perfect

This was awesome. May be too sweet for some. Consistency set well, flavor was on point. Will purchase again.

          Yummmy

          • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I wanted to try this because the Mountain House granola with blueberries is one of my favorite parts of going camping these days.

This was also very tasty! My only complaint with both is that they have quite a bit of sugar in them. other than that this is a great way to start your mornings in the woods.

          GOOOOOD

          • Familiarity: I've used it several times

loved it was way better then oatmeal and its fast when your on the go....

          A Very Pleasant Surprise!

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Premium chow!!!! So freeze dried food for the most part sucks right, but ya gotta make some sacrifices to get deep in the backcountry without packing a hundred pounds with you. So come breakfast time you've probably got some low expectations for the morning's culinary catastrophe. WELL! this aint' no runny egg and bastardized bacon mashup. This stuff actually tastes good. I would eat it for breakfast at home its that good. Its great cold, just add water and shake it up for a min and then let it set for a few and you're good to go. Its also great hot and will perk you right up on those cold mornings. Gives plenty of energy without sitting heavy and it doesn't trash your tummy either. Good stuff.
